"This is Tenn. What happened?" Tenn asked with a tone full of worry.

"It's about Nanase-san. His condition took a turn for the worst and is in critical condition now. We're afraid he doesn't have much time..." his words trailed off, confirming the reality they both didn't want to accept but knew they had to face.

"Got it. I'll be there in 15 minutes."

Hanging up the call, Tenn shoved his phone in his bag and rushed out without even saying goodbye to his two teammates. Riku is more important anyways, he'll just deal with them tomorrow.

The teen quickly called for a taxi he saw driving down the road, "To the hospital. And hurry please."

When Tenn rushed into the reception of the hospital, he saw Iori already standing at the entry to the hospital wards, expecting the idol's arrival. Iori waved at him, signalling him to hurry and held up a visitor check-in pass for him.

Still keeping in mind that they are in a hospital, the two speed walked without turning it into a jogging pace. As they reached the familiar room, there were already 3 others and a doctor monitoring his condition.

Tenn ignored the three and turned his head to ask Yamato, "How is he, Nikaido-sensei?"

"Not doing well," Yamato furrowed his brow, "I'm afraid he won't last by the end of the day."

"..." Tenn was left speechless. He knew that eventually this day would come, and he was fully prepared to accept reality but Riku should still have a month at most left. Doctors aren't physic after all so the chances of how long one has left to live relies on their body. With each beat Riku's heartbeat grew weaker.

"Kujo-san..."

Tenn's attention then turned to the other three in the room. If Tenn had to be honest, he didn't know any of them but if they too are gathered here, they must be someone important to Riku too.

Stream... streamer... streamers! It clicked in Tenn's head that these must be Riku's friends who he usually talks about. Though this is the first time he has met them, the number of them and the voice who called his name. Judging by the voice, the one who called him is So5, the foreigner looking guy is Nagi so the other must be Mitsu.

"*cough cough*" A faint cough covered up the silences.

"Riku..." Tenn was careful to not raise his voice too loud. The least he could do is to make his younger brother's final moments as peaceful as he could.

"Tenn...nii...?" Riku mustered a smile, "...sorry..."

"Shh... you've done nothing to apologise for. Take it easy now."

"Hmm. Happy... birthday Tenn-nii..."

"Same goes for you. Happy birthday, Riku," With every word, Tenn spoke in a sweet, quiet tone.

The others watched in silence, letting the twins have some alone time. Riku then turned his head to face Iori, "Hey Iori..."

"What is it, Nanase-san?"

"There's a letter in the bedside drawer."

Iori opened the drawer to find a letter as Riku said. Please read this after I'm gone~ was written on it. "..." Iori gently placed the letter in his pocket in silence, afraid to burst into tears if he were to talk.

"Sogo-san, Mitsuki-san, Nagi," Riku turned to look at the three, "...thank you for always being here for me... creating such precious memories with me..."
