Jordan (POV)
Me and Robert woke up at 7:30am. We had to go to court because of the boys and see how much time they will get in prison. I got out of bed and took a shower and made breakfast. When I was cooking Robert came behind me and gave me a good morning kiss and I kissed him back. When I was done cooking and eating we head out the front door. I had a lot of butterflies in my stomach because I don't know how things will go at court. In less than 35 min and me and Robert made it. Me and him walked into the building and took a seat until the judge came. One the police told us to stand for the judge we did and was seated back down once the judge came out.
I seen the boys come out and Ray was in the front. When I looked at him he had a "I'm going fuck you up" look on his face. Every time I looked up ray was looking straight at me. The judge said I can tell the side of my story.
"2 years ago me and rayan was in a healthy relationship, once I graduated from high school we both started living together than he broke up with me and told me I have to Listen to everything he says or he'll beat and rape me, at first I wasn't tolerating nothing that he said until he starred beating me with spike belts and more. After he wanted me to forgive him for everything he did me I told him I can't because he put me through so much pain. After a day he came up new rules that I'm going to be treated like a slave and him and the other boys also started beating me" I said putting my head down
"Ms. Brown do you mind naming what all he done to you in the last years you was living with him??" the judge said
"He had beaten me with a spike belt, chocked me, raped me, and also hung me repeatedly" I said
"Ms. Brown what do you mean by hung you" the judge said writing things down onto the paper
"A rope tied to a tree with my head through a hole and me balancing to catch my breath" I said
"And how long ago was this" the judge said
"About 2 weeks ago" I said
"Thank you ms. Brown, With all the violence they treated this kind lady only alfonso, dj, nate, and William each will serve 15 years in prison and for rayan Lopez your the one that started everything and done all the violence you'll be serving 25 years, your dismiss" the judge said
Me and Robert headed home. I kick off my shoes and laid In Bed. I was just thinking will they be ok in prison especially ray since he had got more time than the other boys.
"You ok now Jordan you don't have to get abused and rape anymore" he said laying next to me
"I know" I said smiling
"What you wanna do, in the meantime?" He said
"Get some rest" I said
"I have a question" he said
"What" I said
"How old are you?" He said
"20" I said
"Than how long you been going through this stuff with ray?" He asked
"Since I was 18, soo 2 years" I said
"Well ok go get some rest I'll be out getting things" he said
"Ok" I said
Robert (POV)
I left out the house with the same clothes I had on. I was thinking about giving my entire life to jordan and having a child with her. I was heading to jewelry store and look for a wedding ring. They had nice rings but I want one of them to be perfect for her.
"Sir how much is this one?" I said
"10 thousand" the man said
"How many carrots?" I said
"20" the man said
"I'll take that one" I said
I bought the ring and went back home. When I got there she was still sleeping that was good because I don't want her to know that I got her a ring. 30 minutes passed and she had waken up.
"You ok" I said
"Yeah I'm good" she said sitting on his lap
"Wanna go out tonight" I asked
"Sure where" she said
"Just walk along the beach" I said
"Ya sure" she said
I went upstairs and got ready and throw on some basic clothes. I went down stairs and seen Robert already dressed. Me and him head out the front door and went to the beach. Me and him was just talking and laughing and we came to a sudden stop.
"Jordan you know I love you right" I said
"Of course I know that" she said
"Well I wanna love u more than ever I'm willing to have you in my life forever. I know we only knew each other only for a little time. But I don't care. I wanna have kids with you and I want to grow old with you. So will you marry me" I said getting down in one knee
"Robert like I don't know what to say" I sans tearing up
"Is that a yes or a no" I said
"YES!" She said
