Yi Kang caressed the hair of the woman in his embrace. It had been two years, and she was still as stunning as he remembered. He was a man. He felt very honored when a beautiful girl dared to break the norm and chase him all the way to a desert island. The girl even dared to declare love right in front of his face. It was the first time a young man named Yi Kang wanted a woman.
Upon arriving at the palace and earning the title of crown prince, Yi Kang realized that he couldn't just do whatever he wanted. He bore a great responsibility, where the lives of those closest to him are at stake. If he makes a wrong move, someone will have sacrificed.
That's why he forced himself to let the woman in his arms go.
He kissed her silky dark hair, feeling grateful for a chance meeting her, and having her as his woman. He would cherish her.
Yi Kang smiled and caressed Cheongha bruised neck. He should hold back last night. He put a lot of marks on her neck.
He could feel the woman stirred up in his arms, and he stopped caressing her immediately. He tired her out last night and wanted her to rest a bit.
"Soenbi-nim?" Cheongha called him in her raspy voice. She rubbed her eyes sleepily.
"Did I wake you up?"
Cheongha blinked her eyes confusedly. Her eyes looked around frantically as if trying to remember what had happened last night. Her cheeks blushed when she met the deep gaze of the man beside her. She avoided his stare and pulled the blanket up to her neck as soon as she realized she was wearing nothing. She sat up still holding the blanket close to her chest, and searched for her clothes.
"Are you looking for this?" said Yi Kang. He handed her clothes.
"Thank you," Cheongha murmured. She avoided Yi Kang's eyes as she turned around her back to her lover and hastily wore the clothes
"Are you okay?"
"What?"
"People said it will hurt when you lose your virginity for the first time," said Yi Kang.
"It seems like Jeoha has so much experience with this. Which concubine would dare to protest to you? " Cheongha asked, a meaningful look in her eyes.
"What? Why did you bring another woman into this?" Yi Kang asked. He felt a clutch of panic in the pit of his stomach.
"Well, I'm just curious," she remarked, not a vestige of humor showing on her face.
"We have a lesson about this. The royal family put so much importance on this particular subject. So are you okay?"
"Oh, well, I'm okay. It was just a dull pain."
Yi Kang cupped her cheeks and kissed her forehead. " Take it easy today. "
"I would love to do that, but Bingung-mama invites us to embroider together."
"Why do you busier than me? Yesterday drinking tea, and today embroidering. Your job is taking care of me. Don't go. You could make any reason you like, or maybe you could just say that your feet still hurt. I will visit you after my night lesson."
"Yesterday, Bingung-mama and other consort visited me. They knew that my feet were okay."
"Is not okay. I will tell her that you still need to rest."
"No... no... no... they would think I'm showing off because of you spending the night with me."
Yi Kang looked incredulously. Where the hell is the thought coming from? Could spending the night with him be worth showing off?
