From Friends To Lovers

Chapter 3

The next day, Meryl woke up at 10am a bit more rested but still tired after the party the night before. After getting up, she went in the bathroom to get ready for their first real day of filming. She started feeling the headache coming back but it was nothing compared to the one she had before going to bed. She started to take off her pyjamas and went in the shower, when the hot water started to run on her skin she started to think about what she saw the night before, Pierce and this gorgeous Greek girl who's supposedly working in the hotel. In a way, she was jealous when she saw Pierce put his hand on her shoulder while they were laughing, she immediately thought that she was completely crazy, she was very married and madly in love with Don. She couldn't think about it anymore so she turned the cold water on and her thoughts went away.

Pierce woke up earlier than Meryl but decided to stay longer in bed, he had drank a lot during the party and could feel that if he started to get up he would throw up.
One hour later he finally decided to go get ready because they would be having breakfast with everyone in 30 min. He immediately dressed up because he didn't have time to take a shower and would return to his bedroom to do so after breakfast.
He opened the door and found himself looking at Meryl's bedroom door, he started to think about what happened during the party only to find out that he had been ignoring her all night because he was already busy with this girl he didn't even know. He immediately started to feel bad for her, well he didn't know if she was mad that he didn't talk to her but he remembered that he told her to go to see his bedroom after the party. The memories of Christine yelling at him when she entered his bedroom came back, when he asked her if she was interested in him and everything he felt so stupid and wondered if she was asking that because of Meryl or just to know. He then stopped looking at her door and started walking outside where the breakfast will take place.

After getting ready, Meryl made sure that she didn't forget anything and started walking outside, just like Pierce did only minutes ago. She then saw him, he was sitting on a chair, looking at the sea, she was still mad but she decided to go say hello

"Good morning Pierce!" Pierce immediately turned around
"Oh hi Meryl, i'm sorry I didn't see you walk in"
"it's okay, I see that you're busy looking at the sea" he giggled
"Well I wouldn't call that being busy but yeah, it's really beautiful with the sun and the color of the sea it's just.. wonderful"
"yes it is, by the way, where's everyone?"
"I saw Julie trying to run but I think she was still a bit drunk, did you leave at the same time as her? Because you look better than her" he teased
Meryl looked at him and started laughing
"Oh no no, I left the party with Christine and it wasn't very late, you were still there" Pierce looked at her embarrassed
"Oh yeah probably I don't know, I wasn't very sober yesterday, I was more than drunk"
"Yeah I saw that, probably why you didn't even talk to me, I saw you with a girl, it looked like you were having fun together"
"Oh Meryl I'm sorry really, I thought about it this morning and I realized that I didn't talk to either of you, I only saw Christine going out of your bedroom when I was coming back to my bedroom, we had a great conversation by the way" he chuckled
"Oh really? Well that great!" she was still a bit jealous but knew Christine was probably joking with him and it was all.

At this moment, they saw Christine running to them

Pierce started laughing "Oh are you doing your sport of the day" but he immediately saw the worry on her face
"Oh Pierce, not now! Guys we all heard that there is a dangerous guy on the island, we are all worried please come with me, we need to stay in the hotel"

Pierce, Meryl and Christine went back to the hotel together and then saw all the cast in a room.
Amanda walked to them

"Guys, what's happening? I don't understand anything, I heard someone say that there was a guy or something on the island but I don't see the problem"
"This guy is apparently dangerous but we don't know what's happening exactly" Christine said
"Oh god I have to call Don because if he sees that somewhere in the news he will be worried" Meryl said with worry in her eyes
"Yeah, i'll do that same with Keely" Pierce said

Meryl went in a corner of the room and started calling Don
She was relieved when he answered

"Meryl?"
"Oh Don" she started to cry
"Baby, why are you crying? is there something wrong? Did something happen?" he immediately started to worry when he heard her crying
"I wanted to call you because I didn't want you to see that in the news or somewhere else but 1 hour ago I went outside where everyone would be for breakfast, I saw Pierce and we started talking until we saw Christine running, she told us that a dangerous guy was on the island and that we had to go inside with everybody"
"WHAT!?" he said loudly
"Baby, i'll go to the airport take the next flight to Greece to be with you, I knew I should have come with you" he started packing a bag
"Don, sweetheart it's okay, i'll be okay, don't come all the way here just for that, you have your work too and I just needed to hear your voice"
"Don't you know me by now Mary Louise? Of course i'm coming and I know you're not okay, when I heard you cry I knew that you weren't" he heard her cry harder
"Baby please stop crying, i'll be with you before you know it"
"yes okay, I want to see you Don but I don't want anything to happen to you, imagine if when you arrive he sees you and kill you!" Don chuckled
"Darling, nothing will happen to me, this guy is probably dangerous but will not try to kill me"
"Well I hope so"
"Baby i'll have to end up the call to go to the airport but i'll be there soon, I love you"
"Me too Don, I love you so much"

When he ended up the call she turned around and saw Julie and Christine talking so she walked to them.

"How did Don react? " Julie asked
"Well he immediately started to worry and he's coming to be with me"
"Oh god, if only I had a guy like Don, you are so lucky and he's so perfect"
"Yes he's my Don, of course he is perfect"

They talked some more and waited to have more informations on this strange guy.
