Unexpected

Chapter 1

A scared Kyla was in her car awaiting for her secret boyfriend to come out of the building. Apparently, they've been lucky in love for a while & they've really kept their relationship private, but now their lives are about to change as she's a bit nervous to tell him as she's scared that she would leave him, but then Joshua finally comes out & then sees her car, but is now worried as she's not in the brightest mood for some reason, so he gets in the car to cheer her up & kisses her cheek & smiles a little bit

"Hey beautiful" "Hey" "That's odd" "What?" "Usually you'd be happy to see me" "Sorry, I got a lot on my mind" "Okay what's wrong?" "Nothing" "I'm sure something is up" "I'm fine Josh really" "Kyla" "I said I'm fine, okay?"

Joshua knows something is up with Kyla since she's not in the best of moods since she's apparently lying. "Come on babe, tell me what's wrong."

Instead of telling him, she pulls out a stick out of her purse that says the words positive. Looking down at it, he gets completely speechless as he tries to find the words to easily say, but pretty much doesn't unfortunately.

He gives it about at least 3 minutes to let it all sink in before asking "is this why you've been avoiding me all week?" "Yes actually. I'm really scared, Josh" "It's okay babe, I'm here" Kyla then starts smiling wide at Joshua as she's lucky to have him

"You know we're gonna have to tell our groups about us, right?" "I didn't think about that" "You don't have an idea or anything?" "Not really, but when should we tell them & how do you think they'll react?" "To both of those questions, I don't know" "We'll have to tell them somehow" "I know I know, just give me time to think of the plan" "Alright, I love you" "I love you too"

They both start kissing on the lips & then Joshua starts rubbing Kyla's belly, which makes her smile before turning the car on & driving off

Seeing as how she starts driving to her place, Kyla basically smiles a bit as Joshua would never leave her, but is pretty nervous on how she would tell her parents back home, but the thoughts of her mind not accepting being a soon-to-be mom might have her even nervous than she already is, but then her boyfriend wakes her up to get her attention as he knows that she's not really okay

"You okay babe?" "Yeah, I'm fine" "I can see that you're not, what's wrong?" Does she tell him what her worst fear is or just keep it to herself? At this point Josh is literally worried about her Ky Ky as she starts to take a deep breath

"I'm scared of how our parents would react to this life-changing news" "Is that why you were zoned out a bit?" Kyla nodded her head & tried to keep her focus on the road without crashing & then Joshua responds with "we'll tell them whenever you're ready" "You promise?" "I promise"

The scared redhead smiles a bit & then asks, "when should we tell our members?" "Tomorrow maybe or probably wait until after our first appointment" "I suppose the second choice sounds correct" Joshua smiles wide while continuously rubbing his girlfriend's small belly, but from anyone's guess, as she'll be growing in the next 8 months, there would be plenty of belly rubs where that came from
