Chapter 3

"Oh my gosh...I can't believe you're actually here. " Candy gushed hanging off my arm.

" I thought you hated this place..?"David added fidgeting about not sure if he was allowed to initiate physical contact with me...

" I couldn't ruin the surprise now could I?" I replied lowly.

Candy gasped , placing her hand on her chest. Looking at me like I had just said something so unbelievable...

'uuh...you just did...'my demon supplies helpfully.

I internally rolled my eyes, yes , at times I did come across as  unfeeling...

'which you are....'

'shut your  pie hole..'

'just sayin'...'

I mentally glared at her , but the internal monologue was cut short when candy pulled me into a rib cracking hug...

"I knew you cared deep, deep, very very deep-"

"Jeez, I get it "I muttered lifting my hand to pat her head as she squashed her chest against me. Sighing, I lifted my eyes to the other idiot who looked like he'd beg just to be let into the embrace.

"Bring it in ,sport.."I spoke up, he looked like he wanted to comment about the endearment then changed his mind when I lifted my hand and dragged him into the group hug.

He sagged and melted against me releasing a sigh of happiness. I glared at the rest of the hall whose eye were still on us. Slowly the chatter returned  and the stares reduced except for two...

I was scrolling on my Instagram page , patiently waiting for the opening ceremony to start.

I really had no idea why the school council had to make us wait for so long , everyone had things to do ,well at least i do. My brother on the other hand was a totally different issue .

Dean sat with feet parted soaking in all the looks of admiration and awe ,not forgetting the lustful ones . His hands rested on the armrests as his head rested on the chairs backrest in his slouched position. A slight smirk on his lips like he knew the effect he had on most of the school population.

I shook his head at my brother's antics and resumed my scrolling.
Suddenly, the hall doors opened  and the hall monitor step in.

Silence ensued when at slight figure step in behind him. I raised an eyebrow at the reaction,even my brother sat up in an upright position.

My curiosity doubled when , the slightly crazy  dorm rep for the Rage dorm stood up.

"Ruin!" She called out hurrying towards the door .

"Candy," the person rasped with a voice that sent tingles down my spine.

"Rogers!?" Another voice spoke up. A short boy who I'd seen hang a round the dorm rep also rushed towards the figure who I now had a good view of.

"Winefield .." she muttered with even lesser enthusiasm,if that was even possible. As they interacted I couldn't help but take appearance in.

She had bronze skin and equally matching hair that could be considered a dark blonde....

But...

Her eyes...

They drew me in like no other...

A startling Sapphire blue and a light shade of green on the other.

'beautiful... breathtaking...'my dragon supplied when I couldn't form any coherent words.
