You where chilling inside your room working. that's when you got a knock on your bedroom door and you don't have to be a genius to guess who it is. You get up from your work desk to open the door and it is none other than your lover. Paintbrush you liked to call them Painty for short.
"Oh hey babe" You say sounding really tired you open the door just enough for them to come in "yea yea that's great! but why haven't you texted me back?!" Paintbrush asked sounding... mad? "I was worried sick!" They say a slight hint of concern in their voice "I was.. busy..." you try to sound convincing but to no avail.
"That's what you told me YESTERDAY! AND THE DAY BEFORE THAT TO!!" And there's that anger "Im sorry I've just been so caught up on work I just.." "you don't care about me do you..." paintbrush asks sounding more sad this time "look how about I take a break and we can watch a movie?" They look up at Y/N "y-yeah I would love that..."
"Can I get a Hug?" Without hesitation paintbrush hugs your leg. You then pat their bristles and hug them back "ok 2 hours" they look up at Y/N confused "what do you mean 2 hours?" "Like 2 hours for me to take a break I have to get back to work soon" you could feel you leg start to heat up as you looked down to see a small fire on paintbrushes bristles "WE NEVER EVER HANG OUT FOR MORE THAN 2 SECONDS!! HECK YOU WHERE WORKING ALL DAY YESTERDAY ITS LIKE I DONT EXIST TO YOU ANYMORE!!" "Painty calm down! I do care about you it's just I'm busy all the time!"
"FUCK BEING BUSY AND FUCK YOU TO!! YOU- YOU BITCH!" Your heart sank at their words. They pushed you out the way and stormed out the door slamming it shut. You knew they got angry when you worked late so it wasn't a surprise that they got madder than normal.
It was all just so... tiring to you. You just wanted to make them happy and get your work done but you couldn't so you had to chose... Painty's happiness or your work.. the choice was clear you just didn't know what to do...

A few minutes later after you were finally done with your work you plop down on your bed tired asf.
Painty hasn't come out their room In a while so you decided to go check on them. Just to make sure! You walk up to their bedroom door to see them on their bed fast asleep.
As you walk in you can see them sit up straight in bed( bitch I'm back out my coma) and turn to you. "Listen I'm sorry maybe we can watch that movie now?" "No thanks I'm tired and I should be the one sorry" they say sadly "aw come here" you open your arms warmly as you see them get out of bed.
"I love you to much to stay mad at you" paintbrush says happily
"I know" Y/N says hugging them
You both look each other in the eyes and share a warm kiss
"I love you"
"I love you more"
"I love you most"
