"Just give me a minute and let me breathe..." Kyle exhaled, "A little bit of air is all I need...". He seemed exhausted and virtually breathless yet he hadn't even moved an inch for the last 5 minutes.
"Do you need a little more time to tell more lies, Kyle?" I sighed sarcastically, disappointed, what he did was unquestionably vile in every way possible.
"And get the rest of my friends to play alibi?" He stated, aware of his legal crime. He looked to be on the verge of tears, his voice breaking in his words.
"Time is running out and I need to choose, Kyle." I said emotionally, thinking about my options in this situation. He was the love of my life, the apple of my eye, the Romeo to my Juliet... and for him to just so easily cheat on me with Bebe just kills me, yet he seems so aware, overwhelmed and regretful of it.
"The clock is moving faster than it used to move." He muttered randomly, he seemed to be in a state of pure internal agony and sorrow.
"I'll keep asking questions I'll never know the answers to." I sternly responded. If I were to see from Kyle's perspective I would feel like I'm in some sort of investigation with the police or something illegal. He gulped.
"The answers to?" He seemed confused but yet as soon as he got a notification he picked up his phone to see texts from his group chat, "They say that I should leave, just to let them know. But nobody here wants to be the first to go."
The moment consisted of his words followed by silence. "So I'll just stand around I can take down names." I said, yearning for his truth.
He looked at me and frowned, "But every personality is exactly the same."
"Time is running out and I need to choose, and you say the clock is moving faster than it used to move." I sighed in dread of where we were in our relationship of a year and 8 months, "I'll keep asking questions I will never know the answers to... the answers to."
"I've got one question," Kyle admitted, his hair poked out of his forest, grassy green hat.
"That you'll never know the answer to." I scowled, not concerned as to give an answer to whatever he was going to ask.
"Two questions?"
"No."
"Three questions?"
"NO."
"Four questions?"
"You'll never know the answer to any of them."
"Five questions? Six questions? Seven questions? Eight questions? Nine questions? Ten questions?"
"That you'll never know the answers to."
"I'm sorry baby, please, I just need to ask you something." He pouted, teary-eyed.
"What." I said, bland toned.
"Will you marry me?"
What did he just say?
"Repeat that?" I gasped astonished with the very odd and out of nowhere question of proposal.
"Marry me?" He quivered.
"Oh God, why are you asking me this now Kyle?"
