Chapter 3: with Seo Yul

'Where are you going, Jin Bu Yeon?' it was Jang Uk.

'No where. None of your business. But if I have to be honest, I'm going home with Seo Yul. See you in a week.' I found it too embarassing for me to look him in the eyes.

'Seo Yul, is that true?'

'Y-yeah..but I promise I give her back in a few days.'

'But if I'm willing to go back, dont forget that Jang Uk.' He came closer, and whispered in my ear:

'Remember, dont get too close to Seo Yul. He will found out a big secret of yours.'

I dont know what he was talking about. Big secret? I dont have any.

'Jin Bu Yeon, are you coming?'

'Yes wait for me!' and I looked behind, and saw Jang Uk just standing there. But when I looked away I saw him walking away too at my side eye.

We arrived, and to my surprise it was pretty beautiful at his place. Fort Soheo. (sorry I dont know what its called again).

'Is this really your place? It's very pretty, it's prettier than Jinyowon!'

'Hehe..thank you. I growed up here so its actually normal for me.'

'What do you wanna do now?' I asked. I actually didnt want to leave Jang Uk. Now I left his fire pit out. I guess he's alone in the cold now.

I looked at Seo Yul but still no answer. He looked a bit sad.

'Seo Yul, what's wrong?' I asked.

'I'm thinking of an old friend of mine. She actually looked alot like you. Although on the outside she's an murderer, the inside she's just an sweet girl with the most innocent soul.'

'Oh..I see. But where is she now?'

'Dead. But I believe her soul is somewhere on the planet.'

'Oh...I could help you find her back if you want. If that doesnt make you sad anymore.'

'But its okay. If she's dead she's dead. I accept it.'

'Are you sure?' Suddenly his sad face was just thrown away.

'Let's just go to sleep, alright? Let's just forget this.'

'Okay. Goodnight Seo Yul.'

'Goodnight Bu Yeon.'

I felt a little dizzy. I didn't know what's happening. I just...let myself fall in the fire pit. But then Seo Yul grabbed me. He had his hands around my hips.

'Be carefull next time.' I had my hand on his chest. Then suddenly memories came back.

"Only 3 breaths." We're these my memories?

'Aah... shi-' I think I have just an headache.

Seo Yul put his hand on my forehead and feeled it.

'Jin Bu Yeon, you're sick.' He tilled me up and brought me to an room. After that I felt anxious.

Seo Yul Pov:

Why is her head so warm? I shouldn't tell Jang Uk this. He would only think about her then..

'Heo Yun-ok, please take a look at her.' I do trust her because she's the granddaughter of my grandpa.

I guess I will let her alone.

Heo Yun-ok Pov:

'I do have an strange feeling about her. What if she's an soul shifter too?....I must test it before master Jang Uk will make the same mistake again.' I grabbed the medicine for soul shifters. As everybody knows, it would be on her shoulder. I poured more than half of the medicine on her shoulder.

Shit. It wasn't there. Then her eyes kinda opened.

'Who are you.....w-what are you doing..?' I was nervous cause she can snitch that I poured it over her. So I accidentelly putted it on her eyes.

'What do you think you are doing!?' she screamed.

'I-i thought you were an soul shifter.'

'Soul shifter? Enough with that bullshit of yours!' She seemed angry but it was better for Jang Uk.

'Yun-ok ENOUGH!' Master Seo Yul came.

'Greetings, master Seo Yul.'

'What do you think you are doing!? I told you to heal her, not using weird poison medicine!'

'Sorry, master Seo Yul.'

'Bu Yeon, go wash that quick out. I'll deal with you later, Yun-ok.'

Bu Yeon Pov:

Soul shifter..is she okay in her head? 미친....

'Hey, are you okay? Your head felt warm so I thought maybe Yun-ok could treat you. 죄송합니다.'

'No, no it wasn't your fault.' He looked at me shocked. It was the same reaction as Jang Uk. What did I do wrong?

I looked in the water and Jang Uk was right. There are the blue signs in my eyes. So I am indeed a soulshifter.

All kind of memories came back. In Danyhanggok, In Jeongjingak, In Cheonbugwan..

'괜찮으세요?' He asked.

'Am..I..N-naksu?'

'Don't be scared alright? I'm glad too I recognised you first. But let's keep this a secret from Jang Uk and just live far away from him.'

'But..who will accompany him then..?'

'I don't know. But Yun-ok did like him a long time ago. Maybe they can catch up.'

'No, but this isn't right.'

'I won't let Jang Uk alone.'

'Forget about him. We could..we could be together and maybe enjoy our time again in Danyangok.'

And I walked away. No. I knew he was behind me so I started running. Till I got in the boat back to Jinyowon.
