Chapter 1 - The First Glimpse

"Mrs. Camelia please come inside." She spoke through the telephone. Soon there was a knock on the door and the door opened as Mrs. Camelia walked in. "Did you called me Miss. Lily?" She spoke as the female who was concentrated on her laptop lifted her head to look at her with a small smile. "Mrs. Camelia please take a seat." She said as she sat on the chair opposite to her boss. "Mrs. Camelia I have approved your maternity leave.

You can be on a leave from next months till then we can also find your replacement and you can also explain her some work before you go." Lily said. "Thank you so much Miss. Lily." "Miss. Camelia you don't need to thank me. Its my duty to take care of my employees and you know atleast in this way I can repay you the way you have always took care of me." "You don't need to mention it again and again Miss. Lily." "I should Mrs. Camelia." Mrs. Camelia just smile at Lily as she know there is no way she is going to win in this argument.

So, Mrs. Camelia is a women in her early 40s who work for Lily. Lily is one of the most successful women in Paris. Camelia has worked for Lily's father and now she is working for Lily too. Lily lost both of her parents 5 years ago in a car accident and after her fathers death she was left alone to take care of the whole empire build by her father. She didn't knew anything about the business as she was never interested in caring on this business further.

But after her parents death she didn't wanted anyone to enjoy her fathers hard owned money and so she decided to take over this business. Initially it was difficult for Lily, but by Mrs. Camelia by her side and her hard work within 5years she had expanded her whole empire. Mrs. Camelia was currently 5 months pregnant and by the mid of the next month she should start her 6th month of pregnancy. She was having difficulty in working since she was carrying twins. "You can take a leave." Lily said as Mrs. Camelia nodded and soon left the office.

But before leaving she turned around when she remembered something. "Miss. Lily the candidates I have selected will be present tomorrow morning at 10.00 am for interview. Is the time and day fine for you or should I make any changes?" Mrs. Camelia sat. "It's all right Miss. Camelia." Lily said and then Mrs. Camelia took her leave. All of them got busy in their work and soon the day came to end.

The bright sky has became dark now as the sun has set low and the moon has now has now taken its place. But Lily she didn't even noticed the sky getting dark. All the employees has started leaving the office as the office hours has ended. Mrs. Camelia too gathered her stuff and was about to leave when she saw Lily still eyes stuck to the laptop screen. "This child." She said to herself as she slightly shook her head and walked towards your cabin.

"The office hours has ended Lily." She said in her stern voice as now the office hours have ended and now she is not her boss nor she is her employee. She moved her attention form her laptop to the door where her Camelia was standing. "Oops I didn't saw the time." She said with a sly smile on her lips. "Now pack your bags and lets go home." Camelia said as Lily nodded and packed her stuffs. After packing she walked towards the door Camelia was standing. "Let's go." Lily said while holding Camelia's hands.

Lily and Camelia both walked down and exited the building. "Lucas didn't came?" Lily asked as she didn't saw a car waiting for Camelia to pick up. Lucas is Camelia's husband. It hadn't been a single day when Lucas didn't came to pick Camelia ever she was caring the twins. Camelia. It wasn't like he didn't came to pick her up earlier but that was not regularly.

"No he has some work today so he will be late from the office and so I'll take a cab you don't worry." Camelia said. "No I'll drop you just wait here for a minute I'll bring the car." Lily said and didn't gave any chance to Camelia to speak further and went to parking. Soon Lily came while Camelia sat inside. The whole ride was filled with chats of both of them. The ride soon came to end as Camelia got out of the car.

"Lily come inside. Have dinner and then go." Camelia said. "No I'll be heading home. I'm much tired today and also have to be early tomorrow to the office." Lily said. "Ok, bye then. Drive Safe." Camelia said as Lily drove towards her house. Soon Lily too reached at her house as the distance from Camelia's house to her own house was not much.

Lily entered her huge luxurious house only to meet the darkness and silence. It had been same this past 5 years. but whom to complain. The staff has also left after preparing the dinner and cleaning the house. Lily filled a glass of water for herself and drank the whole glass. She placed the glass on the counter and then went to her room to take shower. She entered her walk in wardrobe and took her night clothes.

After taking the shower she had her dinner. After that she directly went to sleep as she has a long day tomorrow. Soon the morning came and the house was filled by the staff doing their work while Lily came out all dressed in her formals all ready to start her day. She sat on the dining table and the staff served her the breakfast.

After having the breakfast she exited the house and drove to her office. Her car came to halt as the signal turned red. She was glancing outside the window when a figure caught her eye. A girl wearing short kurta with a jeans while her ears had jhumkas. A smile formed on Lily's face as she saw a girl being dressed in Indian wear in Paris. She felt good but soon the signal turned green as Lily started the car. But her eyes never left her figure and she continued looking at her from her car mirror. Till she was not been seen.
