And then, just as suddenly as it started, the tune stopped. It disappeared, leaving behind a deafening silence that nobody knew how to handle. People stumbled around, disoriented and confused, wondering what had just happened.
The aftermath was brutal. The true believers were shattered, their faith broken. The haters were vindicated, but they were also traumatized by the experience. The children were scarred, and their innocence was lost forever.
And yet, even in the silence, people couldn't shake the feeling that something was still out there, waiting to be heard. The tune may have stopped, but the questions remained: What was it? Why did it happen? And most importantly, will it happen again?
