The rise of a leader

It all started on October 14 1646 in Spain when a powerful mafia boss lost his wife to child birth the child had survived and was sent to live with her grandparents the mafia boss William had become emotionless after the loss of his wife but he never forgot about his daughter he and his other children had yet to recover from the loss of a wife/mother but they hid it well they had become the most powerful mafia gang in Spain, Italy, and Russia they had not seen Shayne since the day she was born.....

William's POV

I look at my calendar and see today is my youngest child's 14th birthday "has it really been 14 years since Sara's death" "sadly It has" I look up to see my third eldest son said he gives me a sad smile "I thought you had a meeting?" "it ended early" I just nod and James leaves I get back to work two hours later David knocks on the door "what do you need David" "grandma called" I look at hearing that my mother called "what was it about is she okay?" David gives me a 'you're not going to like it' look "she invited us to Shayne's birthday this evening at 2 pm" okay that got my attention "wait really" "yep so what should I say" I sigh "give me the phone David" he quickly gives me the phone "hey mom" "yes we will be there when is it" "okay see you then" after I hang up I look at David "go and tell your brothers to get ready where going to your little sisters birthday party" "sir yes sir" David reply's before running out and yelling that where going to Shayne's 14th birthday party and to get ready and them yelling at him to 'shut up the kids are sleeping' I just listen to them arguing while thinking why would my mother want us there after we just left Shayne with her grandparents and they had never actually met her they had only seen pictures of her but never a picture where she smiled she always had a emotionless face "have I really failed as a father" I said to myself

Four hours later

"boy we have to get going "I yell to my son's "coming father" I hear them yell well the one's coming with my four oldest son's had decided to stay and finis there work and fix up the guest room we all know why my mom called she wanted Shayne to come and live with us I had no objections neither of us had we would love to have Shayne stay and even live with us she's old enough to take care of herself I grab her presents and put them in the car soon the boys came running out of the mansion and literally jumping into the limo. It takes us 2 hours to get there and when we get there my mom is waiting outside for us as soon as Nate parks the limo and we get out we go and greet my mother "hello mother" I say she scowls at me "where are Cullen and Levi" I sigh "at home they had work and to fix a room you're not silk mom" she bonks me over the head and scolds me "Gamma please don't kill him" I hear a soft but emotionless voice say I turn and see Shayne...with a freaking cast on her left leg and stitches on her forehead "Shayne!!!" Jean, Samuel, Luck, and Nate yell as the run to her and give her a very tight hug "you guys know I love you but I still need to breath" "boy's let your sister breath and don't injure her anymore" "but dad!!" I glare at them and the shut up and stalk back to greet there grandma "mother what happened to my daughter" she sights and asks us to follow her inside Nate quickly grabs the gifts and follows us once where al sitting down in the living room "so about shayn's injures well she got attacked that's why I want her to go and live with you it's too dangerous here " "she got attacked and why did you call here shayn?" "because she prefers to be called shayn instead of 'Shayne' and yes she got attacked " I look at shayn to see her injury's better " shayn" she looks at me from where she is standing "yes dad" I give her a small smile "could you come here I want to see your injury's" "okay" she replies before hopping over on one foot towards me just as she's about to reach me someone fires a gun and shayn is hit in the shoulder "AAHHH!!!" shayn screams as blood run down her arm the boys jump up and run outside with their guns I pick up shayn and run to the car while my mom calls the cops I sit in the car with shayn sitting on my lap crying in pain a few min's later the boys get into the car with shayn's birthday gift's "grandma said she will with here for the police and for us to go ahead" I sigh of course she would "okay lets go" "should we go to the hospital" "no let's get the mansion shota is a doctor he can take a look let's just hurry" they all got into the car and with that we are off two hours later and we are at the mansion I get out with shayn in my arms I run into the mansion and yell "Cullen, Levi, Shota get down here know" shota is the first down here "father what is wrong- omg god shayn what happed" I run to the lounge and lay down shayn onto the couch just as Levi and Cullen come running in "shayn got shot in the shoulder when we where your grandma's house" Shota runs to his lad to get supplies while Cullen and Levi come and calm down shayn not even 2 minutes later shayn passes out "SHAYN!!!!"
