Will He Pull Through?

Omniscient P.O.V.

After hours of surgery Devons surgery was successful. He had been shot 3 times one in his shoulder, one in his leg, and one in his abdomen nearly hitting his organs. Marcus and Miranda walked into his room to see him laying weakly in the bed. Miranda checked his chart and asked for him to be transferred to Grey Sloan as soon as possible. Marcus had sat beside his bed praying he would heal quickly and there wouldn't be complications. They were going to transfer him when he woke up so Marcus had his most skill and trusted men stay with him until  he was out the hospital. After a while they headed home.

Marcus went straight to the bathroom to shower and get dressed. Miranda on the other hand was in bed watching tv. When Marcus walked out he was wearing an all black suit and hair in a bun.

"Where you going?" miranda asked softly while he grabbed his gun and a coat

" Out, Ill be back." he said in a cold tone

Miranda watched as he walked out the room leaving her alone in the house. She soon had a urge to throw up again. Freshening up, she decided to call Callie.

" Heyy Mandy, Wassup?"

" Hey, Ive been feeing sick and ive throwing up these past days, do you think its a virus?"

" Well it could be, have you went to the doctor?"

" I am a surgeon."

" Then why'd you call me?"

" Because im also late" she said quickly in a low tone

" BAILEY! Ill be over in 30 mins."

" Wh- " before she could finish callie hung up

Miranda hoped she wasn't pregnant it was a lot going on and from these recent events she had been nervous about her life being threatened. She knew Marcus would keep her safe but he's not always around to do so. In the mist of her thoughts she heard the doorbell ring.

" Well that was quick" she muttered to herself, opening the door.

" Here, Take it now." she said handing miranda water and a pregnancy test

Miranda huffed taking it and went to the bathroom. After a minute Miranda opened the door slowly.

"Callie what if it says im pregnant. I dont know if i can do this." she whined

" Look, you got this. Now lets watch a movie and we'll check after okay?"

" Okay"

They watched Steel Magnolia as they waited.

" Yeahhh, you have to be pregnant." callie chuckled

" Whattt, the ending is sad callie" Miranda said grabbing a tissue

" Miranda you've been practically crying since the movie started"

" I have not."

" Whatever, Imma go get the test."

Callie got up getting the test and cane back with a straight face.

" Im not pregnant?"

Callies face cracked into a smile, handing miranda the positive pregnancy test.

" Im going to be a auntieeee!!" Callie danced and laughed as miranda laughed at her friend.

" Thanks for being here Callie."

" Always Mandy. I gotta go though."

" Where you headed?"

" The hospital."
