Scott's POV:
It's been two weeks since I made the bet with Joel. I haven't left my house since the meeting yesterday. Then a little note from Shubble flew through my window. It read, "YOUR INVITED! I would like to invite you to the party I will be hosting late tomorrow." I wasn't about to go but then the bet came back to my mind. I changed my mind and decided to go. I frantically tried to find a good party outfit.
I heard a knock on the door and I frantically ran to open it. It was probably Jimmy. I calmed down, I've shut out everyone so much I don't know if I know how to be kind. "Hi Scott, I assume you got a note from Shubs about the party... please come, just this once! You'll love it, please!" I scan my pedicured nails. "Ok," I said, agreeing to come.
"Wait really?! I didn't think you'd say yes!" Jimmy said, not expecting it to be that easy. "Before you continue, it's cold in Rivendell for people like you. Please come in," I offered, opening the door more, and making an escort-ish gesture to welcome him in. Jimmy hesitated for a second and then came in after a chill ran down his spine.
Jimmy's POV:
Scott sat me down on his couch and went to grab me a blanket. "So... is there anything you wanted to talk about, Scott?" I asked, shivering, as he gently wrapped the blanket around me. "Oh.. um... I wanted to apologize for shutting you out, I just... didn't want to get hurt again... Does that sound selfish? Probably does," Scott explained, the last two sentences quickly.
'Hurt!? Did I hurt Scott?' I thought. "Did I hurt you?" I asked, worried showing in my voice. "What, no!? It was the fact that I don't understand the dreams!" Scott said, almost yelling. My Cod fins moved closer to my ankles.
Scott's POV:
"Shouldn't you hate me? I shut you out, I'm stubborn, I'm mean to everyone, and no one likes me-" I got cut off, and Jimmy grabbed my face and kissed me. I eventually melted into the kiss, letting Jimmy's soft lips push against mine. His warm hands wrap around me as our lips separated.
"Jimmy- I-? Why'd you kiss me?!"
