The frontal lobes is located directly behind the forehead. The frontal lobes are the largest lobes in the human brain. The frontal lobe is the part of the brain that controls important cognitive skills in humans. It is, in essence, the "control panel" of our personality and our ability to communicate. The frontal lobe plays a role in many higher level functions of your brain. This can include: voluntary movements -which are movements you control. Fidgeting is just an example.
sequencing of complex or multistep movements- such as getting dressed or making a cup of tea
speech and language production- Learning a new language or learning to talk.
attention and concentration- How long you concentrate. Focus. Your attention spans.
Working memory, which involves processing recently acquired information. Taking in what you've learnt at school.
Reasoning and judgment- having an opinion of things and being able to judge something based on your brains information.
Organisation and planning- Presentable and punctual are key aspects of this.
Problem-solving: Maths. Everyday life. Detective work? You name it.
Regulation of emotions and mood, including reading
the emotions of others- how you portray your emotions.
Personality expression- what makes you who you are. Favourite colour. Hobby.
motivation, including evaluating rewards, pleasure, and happiness
Impulse control- that desire to do something. A bad or good decision.
Controlling social behaviours- how you behave in front of other people.
