It had been a few days since August had went to school. Most of those days were spent laying a bed and crying or sitting at their favorite places.
If august had a say he wouldn't go back. But if he skipped one more day of school cps would be called. So august got up and did his normal morning routine. His outfit was a hoodie, jeans and his converse. "bye mom.." august muttered trudging out the door.
Once he got to school he say finney and gwen by his locker. "Augy!" Gwen said as her face lit up. " We missed you so much." finney smiled waking over to him. August was engulfed in a hug with the two siblings. It was comforting. Warmth flooded through his body only to shiver away when they pulled apart. "It feels weird to be back" August frowned, scanning the hallway. "I know it's not the same." Finney agreed. "Hey let's meet up at lunch and talk about it ." Gwen said, attempting to change the subject. "Yea okay, see ya later guys." August waved, heading off to class.
The days blurred together. "Could this week go by any slower!?" August thought. August, Finney, and gwen tried to carry on but the emptiness still lingered.
TIME SKIP: FRIDAY
"Bye finn!" Gwen beamed. "Wait where are you guys going?" Finn asked. "I'm staying at susie's. Friday remember?" Gwen replied. "And i got the job of buying them snacks" August sneered. "Yep! Take care of dad finn." Gwen reminded him. " I always do." finn shrugged. When gwen wasn't looking August mouthed "sorry" over to finn. "it's okay.." he whispered back. Then they all went on separate paths. Little did they know it'd be the last time they'd see finney...
