~one week later~

My apartment was practically done, by that i mean it's in a good enough condition to live in without feeling overwhelmed. Today was a Tuesday and today marked my first day of starting my classes in sports medicine. i had gotten ready and was on way to the university in MY car. My baby had finally made it back from Miami and i could not have been happier.

I had a soft spot for vintage cars and this had been my dream car for as long as i could remember.. i truly couldn't have been happier with the car i have. Arriving to class thing had gone smoothly and i was even able to make a friend. Her name was daniela and she blonde hair with brown eyes she was definitely a lot taller then me standing at 5'6 she wasn't all that tall but everything is tall compared to my 5'0 foot frame. Me and daniela had a lot in common. she's from california but her family is from colombia. She simply just wanted a change and decided to study over here in barcelona.

Another 3 weeks have past since my first day in class, i've made other friends but me and daniela have become quick bestfriends. She is often at my apartment and we tend to have group sleepovers with my cousin camila. Today is a Monday and walking into class we were informed that a select amount of kids would be allowed an internship due to highest markings and amount of effort put into things based off the teachers opinion. A few students from our class were lucky to practice sport medicine in some clubs around the area. assuming spots were already all filled i won't lie i was a little disappointed i wasn't able to be apart of the internship and by the looks of it so was daniela. class continued and was coming to an ending until the professor had an announcement to make "Alright i had two spots open for a certain club left and i didn't want to pick till the end of this class to make sure my decision was the right one to make... Daniela i would like to announce you'll be one of the two people who will be apart of this internship" i won't lie i'm happy for daniela but it still sucks not being chosen "and alicia.. you'll be the second person congrats ladies you'll be working for FC Barcelona!!" the gasp that went around the room followed by the round of applauses was the only proof i hadn't imagined it all. Leaving class daniela went to my house as usual. we had received emails as to where to mer for this internship and the details as to what we will be doing on this internship. Basically this internship just requires us to check up the players as needed, so if they were to get injured during training or a game we would be there to help and assist said injury. We start in two days. As excited as both daniela and I are, i'm seriously nervous i mean this is our chance to prove that what we're doing that what we're going to school for was a complete waste of time and that's all gonna be proven with my favorite football team, yea it's pretty safe to say im a little beyond nervous.

~Two days later~
These last two days pasted by fast then i would have liked. I don't know if i'm ready for today and i'm terrified i'll screw everything up. Daniela kept reassuring me but i don't know i can see she's scared too.
Today is the day it all happens. I wake up and do my usual morning routine before getting dressed

quickly leaving the house i make sure i have everything i need. I'm on my way to pick up daniela it might be a little out of the way but i rather walk in with her then alone.

When me and daniela arrive to Spotify Camp Nou we're left in amazement. "woww we get to work here" daniela had said but i couldn't hear her, i was still looking around taking in every detail i can. It didn't last long as a guy who i instantly recognize caught my attention. My breathe was caught in my throat, that was Xavi Hernandez THE Xavi. My grandpa and I used to watch his games when he played for Barcelona and i couldn't believe he was walking over towards us. "Hello ladies im assuming your both the new interns the university hand picked for us?" he had said i was in to much shock to answer, i hadn't been able to answer till daniela had shoved me forward a bit "uhh yea.. i'm sorry i mean yes yes we are im Alicia Diaz and this is Daniela Ortega it's lovely to meet you" i was able to get out semi confidently though i sure the nervous look on my face showed just how nervous i really was. He chuckled he freaking chuckled "there's no need to be nervous girls you guys will fit right in" he smiled kindly at us before continuing "ok let's show you girls around shall we" we both nodded our head and proceeded to follow him around

He showed us where the medical bay is at where we would be spending most of our time at and then showed us where the cafetera and other things are at. After we finished with the tour indoors he decided to take us out to the field to meet the team and introduce our selfs. To say we were nervous is a understatement i mean it's not everyday you get to not only meet but work with famous football players. Making our way up to the field we hold small talk up until Xavi approaches the assistant coach and thanks him for taking over training. "All right listen up boys lines up come on" Xavi yells after blowing the whistle getting the boys attention. They all slowly start to pile in.

"Alright guys i would like to introduce you guys to some new members of our team. This is Daniela and Alicia they are the new interns at the medical bay." Xavi had introduced us and a course of hellos and nice to meet you's were heard, "please treat them nicely as they are nice young ladies who i won't stop from putting you in your place if need be." Xavi continued causing us all to laugh a little including him although you could tell her was being serious about it which i appreciated. Slowly the guys started to introduce themselves to us and as the boy named Ferran Torres was introducing himself to us my eyes meet a pair of familiar brown eyes i hadn't noticed were looking at me. There's no way he's here right now.
