"I'm not leaving it." Stubbornly huffed Perseus crossing his arm. His other arm was currently being pulled by the rest of his quest-mates.

Trying and failing to pull him out of the muscle car.

"Come on man we'll get you a new one!" Grouched Thalia in pure frustration.

"Oh yeah with you're strawberry selling budget I'm sure." Sarcastically replied the swordsman.

"Stop being a brat!" Grunted Zoe through gritted teeth.

"No!" Petulantly shot back Perseus.

"Come on man we're wasting time, besides you can just ask Artemis or Apollo for whatever car you want."

"I'll weigh to our lady on this option!" Piped up Phoebe back up by Zoe.

The dark swordsman grumbled but finally exited the vehicle.

"How much do you weigh!" Complained Grover wheezing.

"I don't know, how do you put a weight on sins?"

"That doesn't even make any sense!" Snapped the Satyr.

"What does." Perseus shrugged walking next to the river. "So now what?"

"The river substantially cuts the distance we need to travel." Explained Zoe "now we just need a way to travel up the stream."

"Leave that to me." Grover began playing a soft melody, the roots of the nearby tries gently crawled out of the ground like an amalgamation of snakes. Soon they gathered into crude, but sturdy embarcations.

The questeurs climbed in, Thalia wondering how they could steer it.

Perseus opened his mouth, but was suddenly cut off as the boat lurched forward. He looked down his hand wrapped around the handle of dragon slayer.

Only to be met with the mischievously innocent face of a naiad. His grip relaxed, but when a giggling water spirit splashed Zoe's face he nearly swung down at the water. Only to be stopped by the concerned huntress.

"Let them be, they'll never forgive me anyway."

"For what?" Perseus scratching the bridge of his nose.

Zoe raised an eyebrow as the boat in front of them went faster, as if by magic Thalia Grover and Phoebe were suddenly out of earshot.

"My mother Pleione, my betrayal broke her heart."

"What did you do?"

Zoe's lips turned into a tiny ruffled smile. "I was a stupid and stricken young goddess back then. Me and my sister's the Hesperides guarded our father Atlas."

"The Hesperides? The one with the apples of immortality guarded by a dragon right?"

"Ladon." Zoe's smile turned a bit more nostalgic "you know the story?"

"My mother told it to me a long time ago. I thought there were only four Hesperides?"

"There are now, but after I gave Heracles the way to steal the apples, I was disowned by my sister's exiled and erased from history."

Perseus remained silent for a few moments.

"Damn." Was the only thing he could come up with.

"I thought my childhood was shitty, at least some people might remember the crackhead with the massive sword."

Zoe managed a chuckle "I am much more as the lieutenant of the hunt then I could ever be as a singing nymph of dusk."

"That does sound like a much more boring job." Agreed the swordsman.
