Hi! Author Kris here! I'm here to explain from my note in chapter one. If you want, you can skip this. This is just my explanation of a 'hermit AU'.

So basically this is just a made up AU I thought of (unless someone else has already). But basically, Mizuki was born as the first hermit to exist, Ena being the second who has been with Mizuki ever since. Ena and Mizuki don't really trust other hermits. Ena becomes harsh with them while Mizuki tries to calm Ena down. Mizuki has no opinion on other hermits which worries Ena because she knows that Mizuki trusts others too easily.

Hermits are rare creatures you can find in this world and people hunt them for their horns. Some can go crazy when having no food and end up eating hermit hunters or other hermits, (Hermits can eat normal food btw).
Throughout the years, Ena developed a crush on Mizuki (Mizuki likes her too, but is more better at hiding it).
