Growth is a very important factor in the life of a being.
In one hand, there's physical growth. The inevitable factor every being experiences as a natural part of life .
But alongside it comes another type of growth.
Growth that is perhaps more beneficial and important to the growth of a person, than the simple growth of physical characteristics.
Growth that is set in stone by fate itself.
Growth that determines how one makes their choices, and how they live with them.
Emotional growth.

The weather was hot, yet had a breeze that made the weather relaxing. The sun was awake and it was shining bright on a small little town in the Kanto region.
In a field full of flowers, one near a quiet river stream, lied a young blonde girl. She was simply bathing in the sun, enjoying a quite peaceful day during the summer camp she was attending. She laid on the grass, calmly inspecting the scenery around her, as if she was awaiting someone to appear.
"There you are! I've been looking all over for you" spoke the voice of a young boy behind her.
The young girl calmly turned around to look at the boy. His puffy dark black hair moved with the wind.
"I told you I would be out here silly, what took you so long?" teased the blonde.
"I didn't know what river stream you were talking about! There's got to be at least a gazillion of them here." The boy laughed as he stretched his arms out to visualize how big the area was.
"Well, if you were truly my friend you would've read my mind!".
"Heyyy! don't play like that you big meanie." The dark haired boy said in a jokingly upset tone.
He then proceeded to flick her on the forehead. A silly gesture they had begun to do to each other to show how dumb and stupid the other was being.
"Don't be dumb, you know you're practically like my bestest friend!" the boy said.
"I know silly, you're my bestest-"

Ding, Dong.
The sound of a chime played and echoed throughout the plane, alerting the passengers to pay attention to the intercom.
The chime woke up a boy with black, messy hair. At his feet was a Pikachu, still asleep and cuddled up against the boys feet. For a second, he had no idea where he was. It wasn't until the intercom spoke out that he was able to come to his senses.
"Ladies and gentlemen we have arrived at Lumiose City! Please remember to take off any carry on baggage you may have brought with you. It was a pleasure having you board with us, and we hope you enjoy your time in the bright city of Lumiose!"
"How did we get here so fast?" the boy asked his friend whom was sitting next to him.
A brown haired boy, Gary.
"Well Ash, You sort of slept through the whole 7 hour flight. Actually, I'm pretty sure you fell asleep before we even took off. Were you dreaming well?" Gary questioned Ash.
"Something like that."
Gary was the same age as Ash, and they had just completed a flight from their hometown of Pallet town in Kanto, to Lumiose city in Kalos.
