Carl moves to Alexandria and finds Ron's journal, which he may have read a little bit (or all) of.
And then they fall in love of course.
I wrote a whole first part but it disappeared 😭
It had been at least 20 minutes since Ron had left Carl alone. Carl, being bored, started to play with the remote for the lights. Green, purple, pink, yellow. He liked red the best.

He looked at all the stuffed animals and other things Mikey, Enid, and Ron had collected. One thing he found quite interesting was a little glass figure. It looks like Ron. He thought, smiling. Now he was thinking about Ron, with his blonde hair and hazel eyes. Carl always liked blonde hair. Maybe that's why he had a crush on Beth in the prison.
"I'm back!" Ron exclaimed, walking into the room. "Red huh? I like it." He said, carrying a pot and a bottle of some sort. "What's that?" Carl asked, gesturing to the things Ron was holding. "Spaghetti. And wine." Ron said with a mischievous smile. "Have you ever had any?" Ron asked, shaking the wine. "Once, unfortunately." Carl responded. "Unfortunately?" Ron questioned. "I don't want to talk about it." Carl said, laughing. "You're going to tell me about it someday." Ron responded, setting the pot and wine down in between them. "Someday." Carl said, smiling. Ron smiled back, "here." He said, handing carl a fork.
The two boys starting eating from the pot, laughing randomly. "Why are we even laughing?" Carl asked. "I have know idea." Ron responded, falling over laughing. Carl joined him in the floor. They looked at each other, not laughing anymore. They were mere inches from the other one.
"Carl?"
"Yeah?"
Ron said nothing. Carl leaned in, kissing him on his forehead. Ron smiled. Then he went to kiss Carl back. He leaned towards him and put their lips together.
After their kiss, they just couldn't hold it in. They started laughing and kissing again, laughing harder each time.
"I feel like I've know you forever, Ron." Carl said, hugging Ron. "Me too. Even though it's only been like a day or two." Ron responded.
They feel asleep, hugging each other in the floor.
(Writers note! I'm sorry this is hella short 😭 and I know I'm not the best writer with scenes like this, but I wanted their first kiss to be a stand alone chapter. Hopefully you like it anyway. I'll make the next one extra long promise 🤧
