NOT GOOD:THE PRINCESS HAS ESCAPED

CHAPTER 5

                                 "Emperor, prince, general!!, not good. there is fire in the crown prince manor! It seems to be the west courtyard!." the eunuch shouting as he approached.

           Prince ZEE hastily dash out of the meeting chamber. he remember that Nunew was held at the west courtyard. he had a bad feeling about this.

              When he arrived at the courtyard, the fire was already blazing, he grab one of the guards to ask about the situation.

                      Your highness, we cannot get inside the room. The fire is so big.I'm afraid the princess consort...the guard couldn't finish his words, the prince throw him aside and went to the burning courtyard.

    The prince run towards the back of the courtyard and kept looking around. On the far corner near the wall of the courtyard, he saw a back of a person. but due to the raging fire and big smoke he cant open his eyes fully.

When he opened his eyes again. The figure is gone as if his eyes just deceived him.

  "Brother, what happened in here."

 "How did the fire started"

"What about the sister-in law how did the fire start" asked Prince Max, the 2nd brother of Zee.

After an hour, the fire was put out. the guards where able to go inside the burned courtyard.

"You're highness, the princess consort and his maid are....."

"It seems that the fire started at princess bedroom and the princess and his maid were trapped inside and couldn't get out on time"

Two bodies were found inside the bedroom who the guards believe to be the princess and his maid.

Max was stunned and just look at his older brother. He cant believe that his sister -in law is gone. He had met him a few times before. 

He seems to be gentle and kind unlike the rumors circulating around the public.

 Although he haven't seen his face before. His voice sounds so soothing. 

He had always wanted to talk to his bother Zee about Nunew but his brother had to leave to the frontier before and now its useless to do so.

"Go report to the general of the fate of the princess and also inform father emperor." Max ordered the guard.

"You're highness, I found this inside the bedroom of the princess Nunew."

The guard gave the blue  gemstone to Max. The stone seems familiar to him but he cannot remember where ha had seen this. He decided to take it back with him. and looked for Zee at his  study office.

"Brother, Why are you in here. We should prepare for sister-in law's funeral." he called.

"something is not right in here Max".  I have a hunch but I cannot think what is it.

"Brother ,I know this maybe intruding but why is sister in law at the west courtyard." Max  pried in.

"he tried to poison Chun hua."

"Huh? I don't believe sister in-law can do that."

"I have talked to him before. he doesn't seem to be like the rumor says about him. How did this rumor came about anyway and I don't believe any of it,"

"Why don't you investigate about this rumor. I know its too late since he is gone but maybe to just know who started it and why it circulated"

"Also, the guard gave this to me. He found it at sister-in law's bedroom. have you seen this before? Max pull out from his pocket the blue gemstone.

Zee looked at the stone and inspect it. 

"Isn't this empress mother calming stone that she gave me before that I lost before? "

He remembered that he lost it near the border before.

How come it was found to be in Nunew's posession. ZEE and Max looked at each other. He needs to  look into it.

"Genshi,"zee called to his close guard.

 "Find out how the rumors started with my wife, If the princess had been to the border before  and about  concubine Ming's poisoning.
