"Father" Zee called.
"I heard from your 2nd brother. No need to say anything".
"Father...."
"There is no use delving into it. Nunew is already gone. We cannot undo what happened."
"Focus on the present" emperor Qin commented and went back to reading the memorials on the table.
"Yes father."
"I shall take my leave." Zee said and left his fathers study.
Max was waiting for Zee outside.
"Brother, I heard that madam feng is going to leave the city two weeks from now to go to visit his 2nd son." Max said.
" I see." zee replied.
"What are you gonna do now?" Max asked.
"The general might not want to talk to me because of what happened. "
"I will be returning to the border after a month and i might stay there longer than before."
"One of my men reported that neighboring prince is looking at one of our cities."
"I will have to investigate and monitor their movement."
"It might take a year or two for me to return. I will leave everything in your care here while I'm away Max." Zee said and he tap his brother's shoulder before walking away.
Max was looking at his brother's back. He had always admired his brother. Their relationship are not like other princes who would have thoughts of killing each other because of the crown and title.
They had always been in a harmonious relationship. The burden Zee had to shoulder over his shoulders when their father retires and pass him the crown would be more heavier compare to now.
He just hopes that his brother would have someone who will love him and be his strength, support and be his confidante in the future. How their father found it in their empress mother. He thought maybe his brother would find it in his late sister law but death took him away.
Max thought as he went on his way.
