Rory and I have been friends since we were in elementary and now we are officially in high school, But he's been more distant from me lately and whenever I try to talk to him, He either makes up an excuse and leaves or he doesn't look at me.

"Rory wait up!" I exclaimed, trying to catch up to him

"Hey..Y/N" Rory mumbled, looking away from me

"What's up with you..?" I asked, concerned

"What do you mean?" Rory asked, still not looking at me

"Oh for fucks sake Rory, you can't even look at me in the eye anymore, I mean you ignore me like if I did something to hurt you!" I yelled, annoyed

Due to the yelling, it made everybody's eyes land on Rory and me, I knew Rory felt embarrassed because he knows I'm always loud but now I actually felt embarrassed because of this..

"Okay okay..follow me" Rory whispered, embarrassed

Rory kept walking faster than me and I couldn't catch up so I had to hold onto Rory's hand, I then noticed that Rory was blushing but I didn't think anything of it.

"You don't mind if I hold your hand right..?" I asked

"No.." Rory answered

"Why have you been ignoring me?" I asked

"I don't know it's just..I can't even explain it" Rory added

I tightened my grip around his hand to assure him that he could tell me anything.

"Did I do something?" I whispered

Before Rory could answer, I noticed we finally arrived to his house.

"Can you please tell me?" I said, worried

"I..." Rory mumbled

"You what..?" I said

"Let's go in first" Rory added, entering his house

"Fine" I whispered, following him

I watched as Rory looked anywhere but me and it make me feel really bad about myself

"Okay I'll be straight with you because I can't do this anymore!" Rory exclaimed

"Okay?" I mumbled

"I love you Y/N..a lot actually and I can't help myself anymore, Every time I talk to you or see you..I don't know what to do and I know you don't feel the same way because we've been best friends since elementary and you think of me as a friend but I just wanna tell you that.." Rory exclaimed
