The keys jiggled as Ichika opened the door to her new apartment. She arrived to Beika 2 hours ago, and got lost for 1 of them before actually finding the way to her home. Her excuse for that was that she hadn't slept the night before because she was anxious about the trip, so in consequence, she was sleep-deprived and disoriented.

So much, she didn't remember that her house was around three blocks from her new high school, and if she just went to the school she could just walk the rest of the way to her apartment, but she just ignored that fact.

As soon as Ichika placed her two suitcases down she went to her room and flopped onto the bed, dozing off to the realm of dreams almost instantly.

Ichika was visiting Beika for the first time, she allowed herself a few days off from school, and maybe a week more too. Either way, no one would care, and she's smart, she can catch up with the new content when she gets back. Not long ago Ichika had decided she wanted to leave Shibuya, her home, and had been looking for places where not even one familiar of hers lived; she wanted the less contact possible with her family. Beika was one of her best bets.

She was staying in a good hotel, she had been saving money for this little trip, so she could afford to have a good time here by herself. She thought it might be a little dangerous to travel by herself, so she had bought a taser, one she kept in her pocket at all times. Ichika didn't think she would need to use it though, she is fully capable of protecting herself, but there's no harm into being careful.

Ichika was getting ready to go get herself something to eat in a convenience store close by the hotel. She grabbed her hotel key and purse before going down. She walked a little, the busy street around her busting with sound. Ichika bought a sandwich and decided to go eat in a nearby park. It was around 7 pm, the sun was almost gone, and she had been walking around the park a little looking for a nice bench to seat on, when suddenly she felt a hand on her shoulder.

Now, someone might question her actions, but she was approached from behind, somewhere with not many people, sun hidden, and by the hand of that person she could assume it was a man. You can't blame her for thinking it was a pervert, especially if she had been feeling a little paranoid before.

So, thinking that, Ichika raised her leg, shifting her body to the side and tried kicking the person who was behind her on the head. Tried, because at the last second that person was able to move back and avoid her kick.

"Woah, sorry, I didn't mean to scare you." Ichika, who had fallen in a defensive stance, froze for a second looking at the boy who staggered back to dodge her attack.

"Oh, gosh. I'm so sorry, are you okay?" Ichika worriedly closed up to him, trying to inspect for any injury in his face, just in case she had managed to brush him with her kick.

"It's alright, don't worry." He smiled at her slightly. You can't blame 15-year-old Ichika for finding him kind of charming. "Actually, I wanted to talk to you a little." Ichika tilted her head slightly.

"What do you mean?"

"Is this yours?" The boy showed her a golden necklace, with a butterfly pendant. Ichika gasped.

"Yes! What..." She took it from his hands. "How did you find it?"

Ichika had lost that necklace a day before, after walking around for a while. Later, when she found out she had lost it she had gone out to search for it for almost two hours before quitting and going back to her hotel room, thinking that losing the necklace was meant to be.
