Accidentally Swapped

Tails POV:

I made my way over to Angel Island on my Tornado with my Health Booster, Rouge got half to give to Shadow, we both made a deal to give them the health boosters and see whoever would seem strongest.

I landed carefully on the outer side of Angel Island sprinting through the nice thick trees towards the Master Emerald. I used my Tails to speed through swiftly until a bright red echidna napping caught my eye.

I abruplty stopped infront of the emerald as i took my backpack off. "Hey, Knuckles, you awake?" The echidna started rolling around and grunting atop the Emerald until he opened his eyes. "Tails?" "Yup, it's just me, i newly made a 'Health Booster' and i think it would fit perfectly for someone as strong as you, and i was wondering fi you could test it out!"  I slowly made my way up the steps grabbing the small cylindrical tube that had half the liquid inside, as once again, Rouge had the other. 

"You sure it's safe?" Knuckles glided down while yawning before he landed infront of me. "I've made it before, it should go fine, all i did was add a lil' more stamina inducing properties in it! The only diffrence expect for energy you should feel is more agility speed and stamina." I handed it over to him.

"Mhm, if you say so, it would be useful if the Emerald is ever in danger again." He took a swig of the potion. 

The echidna's head started hurting, "is this a side effect?" "i dont recall so..are you okay?" Tails sprinted towards Knuckles to check his temparature, he was burning. Knuckles eyes lost focus on everything around him, the only thing popping up in his mind was..Sonic? He grasped his head in his hands trying to focus, he only got a single word out, "S-sonic.." Before he collapsed.

-----------------With Rouge and Shadow.-------------------

Shadow POV:

I was laying comfortably in my couch as i sipped quietly on my coffe. i was enjoying my rare alone time, thinking about things and almost falling asleep until- BANG- . The door opened to reveal a certain bat.

"Ohh, Shadzieee~!" I rubbed my temple as i groaned at the unexpected company. "What is it, i thought you would leave me alone today." I put my coffe down, slightly rubbing my eyes cause' she burst in right when they felt heavy. 

"Awh, don't be like that! Anyway, Me and Tails have been working on something!"

"You mean you just watched him, tinkering with his stuff and doing absoloutley nothing like always?" i smirked at her mischeviously.

i then started to bark...for no reason...

"i uh." Rouge stopped in her tracks. "Ignore that. What do you want?" I crossed my arms and looked away, pretending that embarassing impusle was nothing.

"Well then, i was going to say HE worked on a 'Health Booster', giving u extra speed, agility and stamina." She placed the reddish tube onto my coffe table as i looked at her suspiciously.
"You believe me to need such a thing? do you think im not strong enough to throw you out my house as it is?" i picked it up, swirling it. 

"Well we added a little extra stamina 'properties'? i think he said, anyway it'll just make you more energized and we need someone to test it on." "Why me?" she rubbed her neck as if she was making an excuse, i could tell she made a bet of some sort on making me drink it. "Since you arethe Ultimate Life Form, if anything went wrong it wouldn't affect you as much!" 

I groaned at her stupid excuse, "Fine i'll try it." I grabbed the tube before i drank it all in one go. "So this was- ngh-!" 

My head started to ache heavily, what did they put in this? "Hey Shadow! You okay?" Rouge propped herself next to me, keeping my head up as i watched the room spinning. Her voice muffled as i started to hear ringing, then, faker showed up in my head.

His voice repeated around me, as well as his Emerald eyes stared into mine. "What..is..this?" I tried to look at Rouge, she was mereley a mossiac blur at this point. i head a faint 'Please don't tell me i accidently swapped the potions-' I was about to shout at her, before all i could see was black, and i collapsed.

Rouge called Tails on her communicator hurridly. 

"Hey Tails, i may have switched the potions! I'm sorry!"

"You did what? That explains why Knuckles passed out, Bring Shadow to my lab, i'm trying to get Knuckles into the Tornado currently. I'll find the antidote!" Rouge heard a struggling Tails trying to drag a 40kg(88lbs) Echidna onto his plane, before his communicator shut off.

She grabbed the limp hedgehog, throwing him on her back before flying (pretty slowly due to extra weight) towards Tails'es lab.

Oh no, love potion, Shadow and Knuckles, are those two even capable of love?
