PS - IM SO SORRY it took months for me to update this! Writer's block and lack of motivation from last year ruined me! But now, having an resolution where I update my stories more, hopefully I update more often even with distractions in front of me like Honkai Star Rail and video games!
"K-Kaede?!" Shuichi blurted in pure and utter shock, which the blonde haired girl named Kaede quickly turns around and sees the main three.
"S-Shuichi! Himiko! Maki?!" Kaede blurted out in shock as her face still looked a bit pale; possibly still very overwhelmed over being suddenly brought back to life in a completely different world. "I-Where-Huh?!"
"It's ok! it's ok!" Shuichi said as he hugged her, "I'm just so glad you're alive... I... I'm so glad..." as he starts crying and Kaede smiles to hug him back.

"It's okay, Shuichi. I...I miss you too." Kaede smiled back while continuing to hug him.
"KAITO!" Maki cries as she rushes to Kaito who is preparing to hug her, but then just as the two hug in a spiral manner, Maki kisses him which caught him by surprise.
"Oh... um..." Maki mumbles to herself as she blushes and pulls her head back, "Sorry. I got carried away."
"No, no, that's fine!" Kaito tried to say it lightly, but his face is also reddening slightly as he tries to play it cool.
"Wow, Maki and Kaito, I never thought that would happen." Kaede expressed her surprise, "What happened after I was gone?"
"A lot of things happened. It's a very long story." Shuichi explained.
"Right, got it." Kaede understands as she lets go of Shuichi and wipes her own tears. "How, what, where-"
"I have no idea on how and what, but I do know we're in a place called Chaldea HQ." Shuichi answered.
"What's that?" Kaito asked while his face is still reddish from what just happened.
"Ahem, well Chaldea is a-no, I think it's better if the director explains it to you all." Mash answered them.
"So, we got the big boss here, eh?" Kaito realised.
"That's correct." Mash confirmed. "Ahem, if... no. I wouldn't ask."
"Mm? Hey, if you want to ask, ask away." Kaede told her in a friendly manner.
"Yeah! No shame in asking!" Kaito told her cheerfully.
"Alright, how do you all know each other?" Mash asked them, which causes them to start sweating bullets.
"Ah... ahem... well..." Kaito started to stutter.
"We, uhhh... go to the same academy." Shuichi half lied since truthfully, they did go to the same academy. Just not one here in this world.
Mash stares at them for a few seconds in silence as she looks at them and sighs. She just nods and accept the explanation while still having a bit of confusion in her expression.
"Wait, if you guys are here, then does that mean the others are here too?" Shuichi realised.
"That's a possibility." Kaede considered.
"Nyeh! That means Tenko is here!" Himiko gasped in excitement as her eyes starts to be filled with hope and excitement.
"Then what are we waiting for?! Let's go!" Kaito cheered as they rush through the hallway.
"H-Hey!" Mash gasped.
"Right! Sorry for that!" Kaito apologised as he just grabs Mash in a cartoony fashion.
"Ahhh!" Mash screamed in shock.
As Shuichi, Maki, Himiko, Kaito, Mash and Kaede runs though the hallway and spots two people where there is a pale, ashy, sage-colored haired girl with and long bangs that obscure her left eye and a iron-made being, much to their surprises.
"Kirumi! Kiibo!" Kaito yelled excitedly.
"K-Kaito!?" The iron being named Kiibo jumped in surprise, "Wait! how are you-"
"Shh!!!" Shuichi shushed him as he signals to Mash, which he realised.
"Oh! Sorry!"
"Kiibo, do you know them?" Mash asked the former robot, which confuses everyone else.
"Do... I know you?" Kiibo asked her, which made her frown a bit.
"Come on Kiibo, that isn't very funny." Mash said.
"Ah! Right... sorry. My bad... ahem... ahhh..." Kiibo awkwardly tried to lie, but failing badly.
"Mmm... are you okay, Kiibo?" Mash asked in an worried tone.
"Y-Yes, I-I am fine!" Kiibo told her.
"I suggest we change the topic, lady Mash." Kirumi recommended to avoid the awkward tension that is gonna happen.
"Y-Yeah! Kirumi is right! I think w-we should continue looking around!" Kaito yelled out awkwardly to avoid the conversion.
Mash simply stays quiet; unable to refute and just timidly looks away from the others till she mumbled, "Okay..."
"K-Thank goodness, Kirumi is here to help us!" Kaede signed of relief; completely unaware of her actions back in the killing game which made the others awkward except Mash who isn't aware of any of this either.
"... Yes... thank you, Lady Kaede..." Kirumi thanked her awkwardly and sighed, "Now... shall we continue this tour and hopefully, meet other participants as well?"
"Y-Yeah, that would be for the best." Shuichi nodded in agreement. "Let's continue on everyone..."
The whole group continue walking to reunite with the others despite the tension can be felt from those who are aware of Kirumi's actions where only Kaede and Mash oblivious to the tensions going on and not knowing what's going on.
