Somewhere up in the clouds.........

"How long has she been crying?" Ramael asked Charmaine, Destiny's guardian angel. They have been watching Destiny since she was a baby.

"She had been like this for seven months," Destiny's guardian angel wasn't happy. Destiny was heartbroken, and so was Charmaine.

Charmaine gave her many signs to show that there is more to life than just grieving, but Destiny ignored all those signs.

"I don't know what else to do," Charmaine was in pain watching her beloved human do this to herself.

"I think she needs something, something to heal her and let her know hope prevails," he released his wings and trudged through the clouds, landing on Destiny's roof. Charmaine followed Ramael.

"Are you planning to send Blade back?" Charmaine asked, landing next to Ramael.

"No," he knew it was against the cosmic rules. He can tweak them, but he cannot change them. "I will give her power to heal herself," Ramael orbed next to Destiny.

He saw her red and tired face, "oh, you poor child," he was sad for her. This is what he felt strange about humans. They can spend years in grief and mourning the loss of their loved ones. They will meet the dead someday, it's all written in the Bible,  but they never learned to let go.

He never interfered with and healed anyone personally, but Destiny is different. He bent down and blew a breath on her face. And for the first time in seven months, Charmaine saw Destiny relax. His angel intervention alleviated her pain.

She saw a tear drop fall from Destiny's face and land on the paper next to her, materializing into a pen. They both knew it would appear to Destiny as if she were dreaming, but it was happening before her eyes.

"Whatever you draw with this pen will materialize, but it will only last for 48 hours," Ramael kissed Destiny's cheeks—the kiss of an angel to heal the heart of a grieving human.

"I hope this transforms her despair into hope," Ramael smiled at Charmaine. They perched their wings and flew away to observe the changes in this human's life.

Destiny woke up from a peaceful dream, the peace she had never felt in waking life. As her wet lashes fluttered open, she couldn't differentiate if it was real or a dream. Her eyes latched on the object before her: a pen.

Unsure, she grabbed the pen and drew an apple to test the theory in her dream. Either she is foolish to do it, or her grief is finally turning her into an insane woman. Nonetheless, she tried. Her eyes popped open the second she set the pen down. The apple on the easel turned into reality right before her eyes.

She rubbed her eyes to see if she was dreaming, but she wasn't. The apple is right there, in front of her eyes. Hastily, she drew a banana this time. The same thing happened to it. The banana appeared before her.

"Am I going crazy?" Destiny tapped her temples. "Oh, God, did you turn me into a mad woman?" she ran to the sink and splashed water on her face. Ramael and Charmaine couldn't help but laugh.

"Should we send her more guidance?" Charmaine asked.

"No, she will figure it out. She will know. We shouldn't interfere more than we must," Ramael knew Destiny's heart. He was the one who had been guiding her for a few years of her life until Charmaine stepped in. The woman had a heart of gold. He wouldn't usually interfere with easing grief, but Destiny's heart made her unique, and he had to act.

Destiny did not stop splashing water on her face. After a while, she realized to test it more. Running back to her room, she tore the papers on the easel. She grabbed the pen and drew Blade's picture. She wanted him to appear before her. She wanted to see him again, feel his touch, kisses, and skin. She pulled the final wing on his eyebrow and rested her pen on the edge of the wooden easel.
