"She's my daughter." Georgia smiled sweetly, with furrowed brows of confusion,

"I'm gonna assume you mean that in a figurative sense, not literally?" Calyx chuckled deeply, embracing Georgia gently,

"She's my daughter in every way that matters, her name is Atlas, and she called me last night because her dad was drinking and he hurt her." Georgia nodded, her sympathetic gaze travelling toward the sleeping teenager,

"He still a problem." Calyx shook his head, the bitter taste of coffee travelling his throat,

"No, I dealt with him." Georgia recognised his tone, it was one she had used before, as she nodded, noticing Calyx's anxious fidgeting.

"Alright, are you okay handsome?" Calyx sighed his head falling into his palm,

"Yeah I'm fine, if anything I'm anxious about telling Atlas, she has to go to school, if there's one thing about her thats normal, for a teenager it's that she hates school." Georgia nodded giggling as Calyx groaned,

"I heard that motherfucker and I'm not going!" Calyx thew a pile of clothes on Atlas' furious figure chuckling quietly,

"You are going and I'm dropping you off to sign some papers for your admission, and my drop out, so sorry kid you haven't got a choice." Atlas scoffed, the blanket covering her face childishly,

"Your a dick Cal." The man shrugged off the insult unbothered, as he revealed a worn leather jacket from the confines of hidden storage,

"You can wear my biker jacket!" The admission immediately changed Atlas' attitude, the girl revealing her dishevelled figure from the blanket,

"Really?" Calyx nodded offering the jacket with a small tight lipped grin,

"Yes, now go shower, we're leaving in twenty." Atlas nodded scrambling from the couch with a satisfied grin.

"And when I thought you could get any more perfect, you go and do something like this." Calyx smirked kissing Georgia fiercely,

"No babygirl, that is all you." The couple remained surrounded in the blissful sanctuary of the kitchen, until Atlas' dressed figure emerged from upstairs,
