"pick up the flowers..."
pingbonnie checked her phone.
unknown.
she set her fork down, curious.
tullio noticed her face change. "you okay love?"
before she could tell him, having already clicked on the message, she paused.

https://r.mtdv.me/giveaways/redrose-222jtg'don't tell your friends...' she read again.
more curious.
"internet provider." she lied, clicking on the link.
tullio thought for a moment, but went back to making tea.
she had assumed it wouldn't be of much interest to her, but it was instinct, almost to at least have a look.
The link had brought her to a black screen, until a silver garden gate materialised, with a golden Ivy entangled in its bars.
above which were the words
"welcome to the garden. you can find us in the love maze, the enchanted corner and the river of dreams."
she gagged internally.
that's so fucking cheesy
she thought whoever made this was a hopeless romantic virgin who got over a my little pony phase very late.
who could claim to proudly be a part of this?
the gate then opened and brought her inside to a red rose, still on a black screen.
she didn't want to think much of it, this strange app, and yet, something about it drew her in.
or perhaps she was bored.
the black screen became vibrant in spring colours, blue like the sky of
evergreen, the faint sound of running water and the songs of birds.the graphics and visuals were to be admired, certainly, but she didn't have much faith the for its entirety.
she imagined playing the game would last half an hour at her most generous.
