How Tae Has Fallen

A Night Of Terror

Taehyung has been staying in your room since you came home from the hospital, in case you needed anything at night, and mainly because he wanted to be near you.

Lill hugs Tae and gives him a kiss on the cheek then kisses you on the forehead. 

She looks at him "Thank you for taking care of her Taetae."

 He says "I almost lost her, I'm nothing without her."

 Lill hugs him tightly then moves towards the door and softly says "Goodnight Taetae."

 Lill quietly closes the door smiling and goes to find rest in the arms of her love.

After Lill had closed the door Tae slips under the covers and gently holds you close. He whispers "Is this too good to be true, you here with me?" 

You continue to sleep, the pain medication doing it job very well. 

The rhythm of your breathing and having you safe in his arms lets him slip into a restful sleep, no longer needing to hold a pillow now that he has you. This time he wasn't going to let you go.

Later that night when everyone was sleeping and the house was quite, there is a silhouette of a man walking through the house. He made his way into the house and up to your room without the other security on duty questioning his right to be there.

Someone who use to be security at the house before things went wrong for him, knew the layout of the house and the patrol routes taken. He didn't hesitate to give that information to the man who asked for it, for a nice fee of course.

He even let him know when the upstairs patrol took a break and offered to give him his old uniform and security jacket. The man was very happy and was more than generous with the "fee" he paid the former security guard.

The man went straight to your room, the door is not locked so he quietly enters, a crazed anger smoldering in his eyes. He sees you alone in bed, he creeps close and picks up a pillow and is about to place it over your face when the bathroom door opens. Both men stare at each other in surprised shock then every thing seemed to explode at once.

Tae seeing the man about to smother you goes into a cold blinding rage yelling as he charges him knocking him into a table, everything on it crashes to the floor waking  Tannie.

Tannie doesn't bark as it is still too painful so he scampered under the bed. You were still under the influence of the pain medication and didn't wake.

The man yells at Tae, "What the hell are you doing in here with my woman!?" 

Tae realizes then that it's Kang. Tae's anger soars even more. 

Kang yells "I will kill you, I warned you NO ONE touches her but me!!"

 He and Tae lunge at each other fists flying. Tae took a hard punch to the face and stumbles seeing stars, then he lunges at Kang and hits him with an upper cut knocking him back. 

He yells at Kang "She is NOT yours! She belongs to no one. She chooses who she wants to be with and she chose ME!"

Kang yells back, "If I can't have her then by gud no one can!!" he punches Tae on the jaw sending him to the floor dazed and almost passing out.

He pulls a knife heading towards your sleeping form. Tannie is peeking out from under the bed wanting to go to his daddy but afraid and only whimpers a little.

Tae's head is swimming as he tries to get up to protect you. He suddenly leans on the bed as darkness seems to enclose around him. Kang noticing he has gotten up turns on Tae and kicks him in the chest knocking him to the floor, at this point Tae passes out.

Kang smiles now that Tae is out of his way he turns back to you not even caring that you can't hear him he still talks to you.

 "You thought you could get away from me . . ." He laughs "I love you. Have you forgotten you're mine."

 He steps closer then looks at your beautiful face, "If I can't have you then no one, my sweet, will have you." He starts to rise his arm. "You force me to do this my love. Some people never learn."
