It's the last period of the day and Val hasn't seen the messy haired boy all day.

Maybe he simply isn't here today, that would actually would be best for the kid.

Unknown to her the messy haired kid did come to school, but late.

He has been trying to build his confidence to walk up to Val and thank them.

As the bell rang the kid got ready to leave his class. He made his way to the front of Val's class (idk if Japanese schools have A days and B days etc but let's say they do) (aka Val and Deku and Bakugou don't ALWAYS have the same classes together).

He stands there nervously waiting for Val to come out. When she does he grabbed their wrist to stop them.

"T-Thank you for yest-terday" he said with a face resembling a strawberry.

Val looked at him with a shocked face but soon with a soft one instead.

"It's the least I could do" Val sheepishly said giving him a nearly noticeable smile.

"S-So can we be friends?" He nervously said looking down to his feet.

"I..." they didn't know how to answer. They were scared, a friend? Really? Did they even deserve a second chance to friendship?

"I-It's ok if you say no... I understand" he said with a saddened look in his face.

Instinctively they answer, "yes I'd love to be you friend. I just thought it was a bit fast considering I don't even know you name."

"Oh I th-thought... Uhm... my name is Midoriya Izuku" he said unable to process her response.

DID I REALLY JUST MAKE A FRIEND!!?? He thought after a while.

"Did that Pomeranian do anything to you today if so Imma teach him a lesson" Val said darkly.

"N-No he hasn't actually, its probably because we didn't have the same classes today"

"Ah so your safe in B days" Val said more to themselves.

"Y-Yeah so don't worry during B days"

Val nodded.

"So where do you live? I'll walk you there" they offered.

"I live ________" he said.

"Really? I live there too. What room do you live in?" They asked.

"___"

"Seems like we're neighbors, I live just 2 doors away from there"

"R-Really!! Th-then that means we can hangout often... if you'd like o-of course" he whispered the last part.

"Mhm we can hangout at one of our places till like 7 or something" she said feeling a bit excited.

"Mhm yeah!!"
