A couple months later
•August POV•
"C'mon Amaya be still." I said trying to put her onesie on.

"Man I wish your mom was here"

Amaya just looked at me and smiled

I put her little baby Jordan's and her jacket on so we could drop her back off at Tamia's. I still don't know who she's staying with but I'm gone find out today.

A few minutes later I knocked on the door and a dude answered.

"Aw hell nah" I said angrily. "Where Tamia at ?"

"Tamia your baby daddy here" ???? said laughing.

"Nigga what's funny" I said now pissed.

"You know you shouldn't curse around Amaya" ????? said sarcastically

Just as I was about to say something Tamia came downstairs.

I pulled her by her arm outside.

"August get off of me" she said

"Out of every nigga you picked Darrel to stay with."

"August first of all me and you we're not together and me and Darrel are not together he's just a friend. Now give me Amaya and you can leave because I really don't want to argue with you over something stupid."

"Me being concerned is stupid right. ok. I'm leaving."

I got in the car and sped off.

•Darrel POV•

"You good" I said grabbing the baby bag

"Yea" she said even though she was lying.

"Look Tamia I know I messed up in the past but I really care for you and I know when your hurt. Just know I'm here for you and you can stay here as long as you want. I'll be glad to help with Amaya or anything else."

"Thanks Darrel" she said before hugging me.

•August POV•
"That's how you wanna do me Tamia ? It's all good though. I can play dirty too." I said to myself

Me: Yea sorry about the way I acted the other night. I just had a lot going on but I wanna meet up tonight at my crib.

A.dawgg😈: Ok I'll be there in a min. Tamia's not gonna be there is she ?

Me: Nah she doin her own thing now, it's just me and you.

A.dawgg😈: Ok good. I'm On my way!

•Aaliyah POV•

I woke up to see August asleep beside me. His phone started to ring and I saw it was Tamia. I answered with no hesitation.

"Hello" I said with a slight smirk

"Hello !?, Who is this"

"August's girlfriend silly." I said laughing

Just when I said that August Woke up and turned over to me on his phone.

"Who you talking to ma."

"Oh I lost my phone I was just calling it"

"Oh" he said with a confused look on his face.

"Did Tamia call or anything ? I mean not that I care but did she ?"

"Uh no not that I know of"

I hung up the phone quickly after that.
"So are we together ?"
There was a long pause.

"You gotta go in a little bit. I have to go to work."

"Uh ok I guess" I said rolling my eyes and getting out the bed.

•Tamia POV•

I decided to pop up on August after what happened yesterday. Just as I knocked on the door Aleeyah's thot ass walked out.

"Oh look here"

"Why tf are you at his house !?"

"I should be asking you the same thing."

"Baby don't worry about mines" I said stepping closer to her

"You're sad" she said laughing an walking around me

"Yea coming from the one thottinh and bopping"

August came and stood in the doorway.

"What you want Tamia"

"I jut wanted to check on you" I said with my head down.

"Is that it ?"

"Did y'all fuck"

"Why does it matter" His tone of voice changed and his accent got heavier.

"Becau-

"You know what I don't even wanna know. You said I wasn't ready for a real relationship right so I'm gone do me Ight. Oh and ion need you as my assistant anymore. I'm good on my own"

He slammed the door before I could say anything else.

I felt a tear roll down my face as I got in the car and drove off.
