The Demon and Murderers

Chapter 5

A few days passed. It was Friday. I got up out of bed. I have to get Shadow some things. I got up and got dressed.

I walked to the kitchen. I cooked up some bacon and eggs. I fed Shadow some bacon. I picked him up and walked out to my motorcycle. I started the motorcycle and started driving.

*20 minutes later*

I got off the motorcycle and walked into the store. I spotted an employee. I walked up to them.

"Hi. Can I help you?"

"Yes. I just go this little guy and I need help figuring out what to buy."

"No problem." We walked to the cat aisle. I saw some cat toys. I grabbed a few and put them in the cart. We continued walking. She pointed at the cat food.

"So, for your cat, I think he will need this kind of food." She handed me some food. I took it and put it in the cart. She walk a bit ahead and grabbed a cat bed. "He might like this." I nodded and put it in the cart. We continued.

*30 minutes later*

The cart was full of stuff. We were walking to the counter when I saw something. I looked at it and put it in the cart. It was a cat carrier. She nodded and walked off. I walked to the counter.

"Is this all?" I nodded. She scanned everything. I stroked Shadow. "What is his name?"

"Shadow." She nodded. I paid and left. I took out the cat carrier and put Shadow in it. I put it on. I place the stuff in the compartment. I looked around to see if anyone was around because not everything fit. No one was around. I snapped and it disappeared. I started my motorcycle and start driving home.

*20 minutes later*

I got home and started setting everything up for Shadow. I got the litter box set up. I put the bed in the living room. I set his food bowl in the kitchen. I looked around. I saw the window that I opened for Shadow. I guess I could make his own patio so that he can go outside. I looked online and found a thing that was a kennel that turned into a little cat thing that the cat can climb around in. I asked if they still had it and they said yes. It was 150 so I bought it. I told them to meet me in the park not far from my house. I told them to meet me there tomorrow. I guess I could kill them and not pay them. I looked down at Shadow. I sat down on the couch and Shadow jumped up on my lap and lay down. I smiled.

*5 hours later*

Man, I'm so fucking hungry. I took Shadow and walked into the kitchen. I looked through the cabinets. I grabbed a bag of chips and gave Shadow a bit of the bacon from this morning. It was 9 p.m. I guess I can go out for a kill. I pet Shadow and left the house.

*15 minutes later*

 I was driving down the street when I saw some police around a house. I looked at it. I heard screaming. I drove into the woods right behind the house. I go off and got into the house. There was a guy wearing a yellow hoodie and a mask. He was over a dead body.

"What the fuck!? Fuck it! Follow me!" I started running through the house. I jumped through a window and got into the backyard. I ran and jumped over the wall. I turned around and helped him up. I put on my helmet and started my motorcycle. "Get on!" He hopped on the back. I drove off. The police notice. I drove faster. The guy took out a gun and started shooting at the police. He popped off one of the tires on one of the cars. He continued trying to shoot at the police. I looked around and there was a forest nearby. I drove faster. I drove right into the forest. The leaves on the ground made it harder to drive but it was still going. Once we were in the middle of the forest, I turned off the motorcycle and got off. He also got off. I took my helmet off and put my mask on so he wouldn't see my face.

"Why the fuck did you do that?"

"Shut the fuck up! I just saved you from the police!"

"I was perfectly fine!"

"Really!? They surrounded the house while you were still in it but I got you out of there."

"Stupid bitch." I know his gun was empty since he used all of his bullets trying to shoot at the police. I tossed him a magazine.

"You are going to need it if the police find you again."

"Whatever. I didn't and don't need your help."

"Ok fine. I just should have left you there so you can be killed."

"How the fuck would you know?"

"I just do! Now, you are going to shut the fuck up and stay away from the police." I looked at him closer. He had some brown hair sticking out over his mask and wore a yellow jacket and jeans that are covered in blood. I sighed. "Just don't get caught again." I grabbed my motorcycle and started walking to the edge of the forest. Once I was out of sight, I snapped my finger and I was home with my motorcycle by my side. I walked inside. Shadow walked up to me and started walking through my legs. I bent down to pet him. I walked over to the couch and turned on the TV.

"Tonight, another murder was confirmed. A 30-year-old man was shot to death by a man with a mask. He had a partner that helped him get away. They were last seen in the forest. Avoid staying out at night, lock your windows and doors, and stay safe." I turned it off. I changed and went to bed.
