Meanwhile, with Rumple, he gazes at the doll that Felix gave to him when suddenly there is rustling in the bushes. He puts the doll down and gets up to investigate.
Rumple- Who's there? Show yourself.
The cloaked figure then grabs the doll and flees.
Rumple- That doesn't belong to you, dearie.
Rumple chases after the culprit, catching them and removing their hood. To his surprise, he sees Belle.
Rumple- Belle?
A little while later, Belle and Rumple start talking.
Rumple- Belle. I don't understand. How did you get here?
Belle- I thought you didn't dress like that anymore. I thought that was your past.
Rumple- Well, this is now my future. Becoming this again, the Dark One, that's the only way I'll save my grandson.
Belle- But you haven't completely become him, have you? There's still hope.
Belle says leaning in to kiss Rumple when he pulls away to break it off suddenly.
Rumple- You're not really here, are you?
Belle- No, of course not, I'm still in Storybrooke, right where you left me.
Rumple- Are you okay? Did the protection spell work?
Belle- It...it did. We're all fine. Storybrooke's safe. We all are.
Rumple- How do I know these aren't just lies meant to lead me astray? How do I know Pan didn't conjure up a vision of you?
Belle- He didn't. You did.
Rumple- What?
Belle- The question is why.
