Keiji sighed as he made his way through the cabin. Well, more like a house in the forest. He decided to try searching for Tsuyumi in her bedroom first, then outside in case she wasn't in her room.

When He reached the fifth room down the upstairs hallway, he came to a stop in front of a door that had twin white snakes on it, a sign that this was Tsuyumi's bedroom.

He knocked on the door, clenching the scroll in his other hand, waiting for a response saying he could come in. A couple of minutes later, finally, a voice was heard from the other side of the door.

"What is it?" Tsuyumi asked from the other side of the door.

"Tsu, we need to talk," Keiji replied.

"Come in, Keiji," She said, opening the door and stepping aside so he could enter the bedroom.

"Somebody needs a nap," He stated, taking in the redness around her eyes.

"Enough with my condition," She said, sitting on her chair and picking up a book. Get to why you are here instead of my father or Kabuto."

Keiji chewed his lip slightly, trying to figure out how to break the news."I don't know how to say this, but I have to tell you something about your father," He explained.

Keiji could almost feel the wheels turning in her head, thinking about all the possible reasons he was here to talk about her father.

'I don't blame her wondering mind. It had been two days since Lord Orochimaru was taken down. Even the prisoner is going crazy trying to escape, but I increased the seals to prevent that.' Keiji thought, looking at Tsyumi, clenching the book slightly.

"What about my father?" She asked, masking the nervousness she was feeling, but Keiji could easily see how much this was affecting her, even though she did not know what he would tell her.

Keiji sighed as he took a deep breath."I'm sorry, but Lord Orochimaru has been killed."

He was well aware of the reaction to this news was going to bring. Tsuyumi's body stiffed in her chair, clamping the book in her hand and hanging to the side of the chair. Keiji walked closer to her and held out the scroll."I know this is hard to take in," He paused, taking a breath."Things might be easier in time if you read the final ones he had left for you."

"Okay, read it," She finally said as she recovered from her frozen state from hearing that her father was dead and took the scroll.

"If you would like to be alone to read it, I can do so," Keiji said, knowing she might want to let her emotions out.

"No-" Tsuyumi said, closing her eyes and breathing slowly, suppressing the tears that wanted to fall from her eyes."I don't think I can handle this alone," She said, looking at the scroll.

"I stay then."

Tsuyumi glanced at the sealed scroll and focused her charka on it. Seeing it was a seal that required chakra to open, it and positive it was made just for her chakra or her fathers to open it.

She then rolled it open and read it as Keiji stood there silently, watching her.

Tsuyumi, my snake Princess,

Suppose you are reading the scroll by Kabuto or Keiji, your best friend. Then sadly, my precious princess, my plans with Sasuke being my vessel with wrong, and he ended up killing me, as I feared would happen. I know that we didn't have a normal father-and-daughter relationship, and we only seem each other for training, and occasionally, we talked.

I'm just not the best at letting my emotion show and forming bonds. It is hard not to get consumed by anger and darkness from all the pain I was forced to bare alone with nobody ever bothering to see my suffering, not even my so call friends or sensei. Only your mother was the one to see the pain within me.

However, the point is that after the day you were born, you made me feel the happiness I haven't felt for a long time. Of course, your mother made me happy, but you were different. Since that day, I knew that if anything happened, you were the heir even if w had another child if your mother wasn't dead.

What im saying is that you are to become the new Otokage of Otogakure, meanings you're the new leader. I wish that I was around to train you for the role more like I plan, but sadly Sasuke made that not the case. I know that this will be hard for you as right now.

I know that you will be a great Otokage because you are my heir and the legacy that I left behind in my passing. And no matter what, I will always watch over and love you. It doesn't matter what path you take as the new leader, even if you one day decide to get rid of my research.

Remember that I love you always, even if I don't always show it.

The final words from your father.

Tsuyumi closed the scroll as she felt tears falling down her face, unable to hold them back any longer.

"Tsu," Kejij said softly as he walked over to his best friend and touched her shoulder as she finally freed her tears.

After a good couple of minutes, Tsuyumi started calming down from the overwhelming sadness from reading the letter.

"He wants me to take over as the new leader of the Hidden Sound village, and that stupid Uchiha killed him," She said, wiping the tears off her face.

"I'm so sorry he is gone, but he believes in you as the new leader, and I know that you can turn the village into a mighty village like he planned to make it an official village one day better than the other village home to the outcast of shinboi he took in," Kejij commented with a smile showing his shiny white teeth.

Tsuyumi closed her eyes as the words of her father's letter played in her head.

"Alright, I will take my place as the new leader," She said with narrow eyes promising she won't let her father down.

"I knew that you accept you pack what you want to take, and we set off for the central part of the Hidden Sound so that Damiyo could announce the new leader," Keiji said, heading towards the door.

Tsuyumi nodded and sealed her clothes and essential pictures of her and her father that she wanted to take with her to her new home in the Land of Sound.

"Let's go, but I want Mitsuko-san to join us in the Hidden Sound once im settled," She stated.

"I'm sure that Kabuto can help arrange that he back at the main capital im sure taking care of letting them know you are coming," Keiji said.

Tsuyumi simply nodded as she and Keiji left to set off on their journey to Hidden Sound for her to take her role as the new Otokage.
