Billy and griffin priv message...

Griff:Hey

Billy:hey

Griff:what did u want?

Billy:I just wanted to say that the only reason I was mad at finney for not telling me he's trans is because we used to be best friends In preschool,i was  sitting on the swings alone because I was new and finney came up to me (He was still a girl at this point) and asked if I wanted to be his friend so of course I said yea. So we were really good friends for a while but then he had an accident with his dad and he got a really bad concussion,when I found out I ran to the hospital to see if he was okay and he didn't remember me. I asked him is he knew my name and he said he didn't even remember my face and that he'd never met me before. The doctors said not to force him to remember and it will all come back to him naturally but he didn't remember. I thought he had moved away because he never came back to school.but then a new kid came to school about a month later and he looked familiar but I couldn't recognise him until yesterday when he told me he was trans. It just all came flooding back to me and I put it all together in my mind,finney was Fionna.

Griff:Omg I'm so sorry, I didn't know that happened.

Billy:yeah I mean I thought I got over it but I guess not, he only remembered  robin,Gwen,his dad and what happened to his mum

Griff:I'm so sorry billy. Maybe you should talk to him?

Billy:idk if that's a good idea

Griff:do you want me to talk to him? I mean he is my step-cousin,maybe he will listen to me?

Billy:that would be great,thank you

Finney's pov

I was walking down griffs street and I saw Vance walking towards me, "oh hey Vance" "hey Finn,griff sent me to walk u down coz he was scare something would happen to u or something?" "Oh right okay" that was weird, anyways now I'm walking down the street with Vance and next thing I know,we're at their house.

"What did griff even want me to come over for?" I ask while Vance opens the door "I don't know,ask him" he replies holding the door open for me "okay" I sigh "HEY GRIFF WHERE HOME" Vance shouts upstairs "OKAY" he shouts back now running down the stairs.

We walk to his bedroom and I sit on his bed "he what did u want me to come over for?" I ask "well I need to talk to u about something"he says back  "okay" "something that has to do with billy" he adds "oh?" I ask "yeah,he text me this morning and told me some things that happened and he wants me to tell you because he doesn't want to make u feel uncomfortable" he says which makes me confused "what?" I ask "just listen.." he sighs "so when you and billy were in preschool,remember,this was before your transition, Billy was sat on the swings alone as he was new and had no friends,you walked up to him and asked him to be your friend and he said yes.So after that you two were really close friends..." "what? I don't remember this" I interrupt him "I know,just please listen" griff says "anyways,you two were really good friends until one day,things with your dad got really bad and you got a concussion making you forget most things including billy. As soon as billy found out about the incident he ran to the hospital to see if you were okay but when he got there,you didn't recognise him and said you don't know who he is. This obviously made his upset since you were his first real friend and u didn't remember him. So the next day he went to school like normal but u Wasn't there,he didn't think anything of it as you were still in hospital. A month passed and you still wasn't at school,But there was a 'new' student that came to school that day. Billy tried to make friends with them as he didn't have any friends again and they are friends now still. When you came out to him yesterday, he said he remembered everything and that he recognised the new kids face but he couldn't really remember who he looked like until you came out. You were the new kid, after your transition. That's why he recognised your face." Wow that was a lot to process; but it makes sense. "Omg really?" "Yeah, he said he was just really confused yesterday after figuring it all out and he wasn't mad even though it might have seemed like he was" "no that makes complete sense,I feel so bad. How could I just forget him?" "Your concussion was really bad and the only people you could remember was Gwen,your dad,robin and what happened to your mum..."

"omg I need to go talk to him,I'll text you later"I say while grabbing my things  "oh okay,good look" griff shouts as h run out the door.

I run to Billy's house and when I get there I knock on the door. "Finney?" Billy opens the door. I don't say anything and I just run to him and hug him "finney are you okay?" "I'm so sorry" "what for? What happened?" "How could I just forget you?" I say on the verge or crying "did griff talk to you?" Be asked,his voice calmer than before "yeah, I'm so sorry. And I'm sorry for not telling you I was trans sooner" I say now crying. "It's okay Finn, I'm not mad. I was just confused" he says pulling me inside the house and to the living room "I know but I just feel really bad" I say sitting down "it's not your fault you didn't remember me, you had a concussion" he says sitting next to me bringing me into a hug again...
