"What was that all about?" Megan asked as I came outside the counselor's office.
"Nothing," I said while walking to class.
"Wait," she said while grabbing my arm. "You promised you wouldn't shut me out," she said sadly. Since I knew if I tell her she would be in danger, I did the best thing I could think of. I kissed her. Before she could get too much into it, I left her standing there confused.
