Neteyam POV

We had pulled into a Sonic since Kiri and Lo'ak had been pestering me about getting food. I did make them pay for it since I drove them there. We went to one of the parking spots that had a menu board and ordered off of it. I sighed as my siblings finished up their orders.

"Neteyam, what was going on earlier between you and that other guy? You seemed annoyed," Kiri had asked, after finishing up our orders. I knew her and Lo'ak had seen what happened in the parking lot.

"Tsireya's brother had invited me out to some diner. But, I turned him down. He'd bothered me all day and I don't want to interact with him anymore. I would rather get in a car reck than hang out with him honestly," I huffed, leaning back and sliding down in my seat. I hated Aonung and I live by that. I wasn't going to let him bother me anymore.

"Oh... Well about that," Lo'ak had started and I turned to look at him and the guilty face he had plastered on, "I texted dad that I invited Tsireya over and he told me to invite her family for dinner tonight. So he'll be at the house tonight."

I looked at him for a moment before swatting at him, missing of course. He yelled apologies and I wasn't having any of them. I didn't want that idiot in the house or even near me. I looked over at Kiri who was also glaring at Lo'ak.

"You idiot Lo'ak! I was having spider over tonight for dinner because dad said it was okay! I can't believe dad's letting you basically throw a house warming party!" She seethed, throwing some astrology book she had at him.

"Well, Rotxo is also coming over because apparently he basically follows Aonung everywhere. So Neteyam, you have fun with them. They're in your class and maybe you can work this out?" Lo'ak laughed, dodging the book Kiri had chucked at him. I groaned again, and sank down into my seat wanting to disappear from this place.

We ate our sonic and got something for Tuk since we had to go pick her up from school. She hopped in the car and happily accepted the sonic blast we had for her. We caught her up on the dinner plans on the drive home and we caught mom out on the porch with dad next to her.

"Go get ready for dinner you four. Since your father wanted to have so many guests over, you all get to prepare the house. Go take care of your animals and then set the table. Kiri, I need you to help me cook the meal for all of us," My other ordered. We all nodded quickly and hurried into the house.

I hurried to my room and walked over to my terrarium and checked on my Ball Python, Uua. I looked inside of her terrarium and smiled spotting her on one of her branches I had inside. I ran downstairs to the freezer and grabbed a container labeled 'Uua's Food! Do Not Touch'. I took it back upstairs and opened Uua's terrarium. I then opened the container and put in the last dead mouse and closed her little enclosure.

It had been time to feed her and I went back downstairs and let my mom know I need more mice to keep Uua fed. She nodded and I went back upstairs to finish getting ready. I changed into a different pair of jeans and a vintage t-shirt. I then put my pilot jacket back on.

I checked in the mirror to make sure I looked okay and heard Lo'ak yelling at his dog, Koen. I peaked my head out the door and saw the canine running around with Lo'ak's once clean shirt in his mouth. Kiri was watching from her room's doorway, with her cat in her arms. The two of us watched Lo'ak try to steal his shirt back from his dog while trying not to laugh.

Kiri then had to set her cat down and went down to help our mom with dinner. I went down and outside to find my dad setting up my archery range. I ran over and helped him finish setting up. He looked at me for a moment before giving me a soft smile.

"Are you happy you were recruited for the archery team? I told you that if you sent an application before we moved, you'd get in. Now you can continue your passion here," He said as I sat down on a piece of furniture out in the yard. I nodded, knowing he was right. I was on my school's team before but when I heard we were moving, I knew I had to quit. My old coach said there was a team out here that competed more than the schools did and had more competitions.

I told my parents and they encouraged me to send an application for one of their more professional teams. So I did and I go in. I start practices on the weekend. I smiled at my dad as he finished putting the target up then coming over to me. I think he could tell I had a lot on my mind. He gave me a small hug and went back into the house.

I decided to stay outside and practice my shot for a bit. I didn't want to go and sit around, waiting for Aonung to show up and bother me more. I grabbed my bow and a few of my arrows, and started taking shots. I mainly hit bullseyes.

My mother called for me when our guests had arrived for dinner. She made me answer the door. I opened the door to Aonung trying to listen at it and stumbling. I chuckled a bit and welcomed his family in. Look had run downstairs with Kiri (and Spider who probably came over while I was outside) and they waved to Tsireya and her family.

I went to help my mother put the food down on the table as everyone sat down. I ended up across from Aonung and I wasn't pleased about the seating when I looked up to see him looking at me, obviously still mad I turned down his diner "date." It was going to be a long night for me.

[I did it! I have had writers block and I've been writing this for weeks. I might start a Wesper fic while I work on this one. I need the motivation to write. I hope you enjoy this Chapter!!!]
