The sound of glass shattering echoed in the house. Everyone was shocked at this sudden sound, even the one who caused it. Three brothers and a father had been in the main room of a cabin in the middle of a beautiful winter. One of the three brothers and the father had come home from a 'dangerous' adventure and was soon about to leave once again to begin another one. One of the two other brothers was not pleased at this.

"Wil please-" the father started.

"Just stop Dad, you came back home without saying hello and now you're leaving without saying goodbye. I haven't seen you in what? A whole ass year and a half, and now you're leaving again?!" one of the brothers interrupted.

"Do not cuss in front of your brothers Wilbur,"

"Oh like you give a shit, the only child you care about is Techno. If you're gonna play favorites, at least make it less obvious," Wilbur spat.

"I do not play favorites," Phil defended.

"Yeah right, again who was with you for the past year and a half? Surely it wasn't me or Tommy. Neither you nor Techno sent a letter, neither one of you had done any communication at all to make sure that you both were okay," Wilbur had tears gushing down his face as he continued. "You both fucking left, you both left Tommy here alone with no fucking father or a brother,"

"He had you-"

"And you think that's enough?! Dad, you're not just Techno or Tommy's father, you're mine too!" Wilbur yelled. Tommy had jumped a little, his tiny hands grasping the sleeve of Wilbur's sweater, pulling on it a little. Wilbur's expression softened, he looked down at Tommy and had a tiny smile form on his lips.

Wilbur kneels down at Tommy's height, "Tommy, why don't you head up to your room, I'll sing you a song when we finish here,". Tommy looks up at Phil and Techno then back to Wilbur, hesitantly nodding as he walks up to his room.

Techo doesn't move a muscle, he doesn't even look at either Tommy or Wilbur, his focus is on the fireplace in front of him, but he still hears everything. "Just go, just leave," he had heard Wilbur say after a while hearing the door of Tommy's room close.

"Wil-"

"Tommy is 10 years old, Dad, and he has no idea who his father is. Tommy is 10 years old and he doesn't know who his other brother is. Hell, I'm 18 and I have no idea who both of you are. Why not fucking keep it that way?" Wilbur snaps. "Just go, just leave, maybe just leave forever,".
Wilbur runs upstairs, Phil wants to go follow him, he wants to go and hug his two other sons, but he can't move. Techno notices this so he goes over to him, he notices that there are tears threatening to leave the eyes of the older man. Techno places his hand on Phil's shoulder, Phil looks up at his middle child and they both walk away.

When they both came back from their journey, which was shorter than their last one, took at least five months, they realized that the two boys they left there were nowhere to be seen. All that was left was a note, clearly in Wilbur's writing, saying that they both had left, and both Techno and Phil had no idea where they had gone. Until Techno got a ping from his youngest brother, begging for his help to save his oldest brother. Phil wanted to follow, but Techno convinced him otherwise.

That night stands clear in his head, as much as Techno wished that it didn't. The voices were not helping at all with the memories that are impaled and stand clear in his head:

HAHAHHA LOSERRRRR

"Chat, please shut the fuck up," Techno groaned.
Somewhere, on a special bench near a tree, sat two best friends talking to one another.

"I don't think we can trust Wilbur," spoke the blonde.

"Why not?" the brunette asked.

"The fuck you mean why not? Tubbo, he's gone insane! He never leaves his room and when he does, he either talks about some dark creepy shit or he goes outside to smoke. That is not the Wilbur who raised us," Tommy explained.

"I wish that we could just leave dude, just start our own lives and just leave together. Where there's no wars, or revolutions, or governments, or just anything," Tubbo sighed.

"I do too, trust me I do," Tommy starts. "But I can't leave Wilbur. Not when we've come this far together. I can't leave L'manberg either,".

"Is Wilbur and L'manberg even worth it?" Tubbo asked.

There was a silence between them for what felt like hours until the blonde finally answered. "What's the point of trying if you don't have any hope? As much as I know that it's a bad idea to care as much as I do for a country, I have to, I helped create it. For Wilbur, I just can't stop caring for him. He might've given up, but I haven't, especially not on him,".

Tubbo just stares blankly at Tommy, then nods. "If you stay, I stay,"

"Why? Why have you stayed on my side for so long?"

"Well cause, you're my best friend, and I care a lot about you!" Tubbo smiled brightly.

"Clingy," Tommy mumbled.

"I'm not clingy!" Tubbo exclaimed.

"Rightttttt," Tommy chuckled. "Thanks Big Man, for always being there for me,".

"Always, forever always,"

"Forever always,"

They both just sit there in silence as they watch the sunset right before their eyes. Both of them are happy to know that they're both together at that moment, knowing that they both feel safe being together.

Far away was a father, who was waiting for the right time to pack up and leave to go to where his three sons are. He knows that it's a bad idea to go, knowing that his middle child advised him to not go, but if what his middle child is saying about his oldest, then he has to be there for him. Along with saving and protecting his youngest, knowing that he's too young to handle this.

Having the thought of Tommy being in trouble and Wilbur going insane made him finally realize that his boys need him. They need him there. Without having a second thought, he fixes everything up and prepares himself for a long journey ahead.
