Chapter 5

Tw: swearing, mentions of murder, mentions of nukes.

Third person POV

Dream sniffs as Tommy whimpers at his dad. Dream hadn't been paying any attention to Tommy after he killed everyone. Tommy seemed to be annoyed because Dream was ignoring him. He wrapped himself around Dream like a giant cat. "Tommy... why?" Dream asks, choking back sobs and wiping his eyes "Why would you do this? We could have been a family." Dream says. Tommy made an odd noise and Dream sighed. Tommy had been making all sorts of weird noises to get Dreams attention. Suddenly something else called back in a language that Dream didn't understand. Tommy perked up his ears twitched, his tail swung wildly, and his moth wings twitched. Tommy made another sound and the same being responded. Dream looked up at Tommy in confusion. Tommy was grinning and patiently staring out the cave entrance. Suddenly two other beings came into view and Dream internally died. One had dark brown hair, goat horns, hoofs, bee wings, and antennae. They are wearing a brown shirt, green overalls, and a dark brown coat with with white fur lining the hood and shoulders. The other person was taller than Tommy, half white half black skin, one green eye and one red eye, tall horns, clawed hands and feet, and purple particles. This one was wearing a white shirt, black suit jacket, red tie, and black dress pants. Dream started squirming to get away from all of them. He didn't even know these two people! Obviously Tommy knows them but he has no idea who these people are. Dream screeches, yells, kicks, and squirms but to no avail.

Dream was now pouting in the corner. Tommy was trying to get Dream to look at them but Dream just wouldn't pay any attention. "Why is he just sitting in the corner?" Tubbo asks. "I think he might be either nervous or annoyed because he doesn't know you two." Tommy groans. Tommy picked up Dream and hugged him to his chest. Dream struggled and made many loud noises. Tommy noticed that this was something he normally did and he remembered doing that when he was first abducted. He can't recall the human language anymore since the experiments not only fucked with his appearance but also his brain. Ranboo sat down on the floor next to Tubbo. "Tommy sit your ass down." Tubbo says pulling Tommy down next to them. Tommy groaned "I don't want to sit next to Ranboob thoughhhhhh." Tubbo glares at Tommy's whining "stop insulting my husband bitch." Tommy huffs in annoyance and sets his dad on the ground. Even though Tommy couldn't understand human language anymore he knew that his dad staying was a good thing. He might not trust Tommy but he hasn't tried to run yet. His dad stood up and walked over to the small kitchen that Tommy had made him. He went through the options before deciding on some chicken. Tommy watched his dad start a fire under the stove before starting the process of cooking. "What's he doing?" Tubbo asks. "He's cooking Tubbo." Tommy says. Tubbo just looks  at Tommy with confusion. "Tubbo Ranboo cooks all the time. I know your a vegetarian but we both know that you know what cooking is." Tommy says. "Oh! It's what Ranboo does to make his portion of the food safe for him to eat." Tubbo exclaims suddenly. "Tubbo. You are my best friend and practically my brother. Humans have to do that too! Those fucking stupid ass scientist didn't do shit to help our immune system!" Tommy says with an annoyed tone. Tubbo blinks a few times and Ranboo sighs. "The scientists aren't stupid. They couldn't possibly be scientists if they were stupid." Tubbo says. Tommy groans and lays down dramatically. Ranboo internally cries and begs for help.

"Dad! What are you doing?" Tommy asks. "He can't understand you. We all know this and you were the first to establish this." Tubbo groans "now if you'll excuse me! I'm gonna go get myself some food. I'll be back!" "Be safe Tubs." Tommy says finally getting up from his spot next to his dad and hugging Tubbo goodbye. Tubbo's wings buzz as he lifts off and flys away to find food. "Well Ranboob. What do you want to do while Tubbo's gone?" Tommy asks. "Uhhhhh I don't know. To be fair I'm normally with Tubbo to make sure that he doesn't nuke the entire world." Ranboo says standing in an uncomfortable position. "You know you can sit down right?" Tommy says. "Oh yeah I know. I just didn't know if you wanted me to sit." Ranboo says. Tommy frowns "hey if I ever scare you don't be afraid to tell me. I care about you. You don't have to ask for permission to sit." Tommy says. Ranboo smiles "alright. Also your fine. You don't really scare me. I just don't like making others uncomfortable." Ranboo says. "So I scare you sometimes?" Tommy asks with worry. "I am only scared that you will end up murdering the entire world." Ranboo says. "Ah well that's a valid fear." Tommy says. "Oh no. Please don't I was joking." Ranboo begged. Tommy laughs with Ranboo and he lays back down next to his dad. Dream seemed to be warming up to them. It was a slow process but it was happening. Dream wasn't doing much since they were in a giant fucking cave but he would get up and interact with the people more. Tommy swished his tail around and Dream brushed it a little with a small makeshift brush. Tommy smiled as his dad nuzzled close to him and drifted off. "You two seem to be getting along well despite the fact that you basically killed his entire village." Ranboo comments. "Shut up." Tommy grumbles as a buzzing sound grew closer. Tubbo landed in the cave with an assortment of fruits and vegetables. They all varied in size, shape, and color and Tubbo started sorting them. "What are you doing Tubs?" Tommy asks. "I found a few fruits and veggies that Dream can eat and so I'm sorting them into piles of me and Dreams fruits and veggies." Tubbo says. Tommy nods as they spent the rest of the night chatting and sleeping.
