My friend Alli helped with the edits, this story wouldn't be nearly as nice and there would be a bit more typos without her. She is an amazing writer and artist.  I recommend checking out her socials.

This is mainly a story about Ravio because there aren't enough Ravio fanfictions. If you love Ravio than I hope you love this story.

Note, I desperately need a cover. Willing to do an art trade to get one. I don't think I can make a good one on my own .

Chapter 1

A year had passed since the triforce was restored to Lorule, and already their world had regained its beauty.

Ravio hadn’t expected it to happen so fast, but just seeing the green grass boosted the morale of the citizens. People were nicer, there seemed to be less pickpockets, and most noticeably he never felt that tense feeling anymore that someone could strike at any moment.

It was already near midnight, Ravio didn’t realize how long he’d been writing until he looked up, and much to his dismay the tea he had been sipping on had went cold.

“Well, time for bed then.”

He said, stretching as he went to grab his cup before he suddenly heard the door slam shut.
Ravio jumped in shock in response, though after observing in silence for a moment he noted there didn’t seem to be anyone there besides himself. Nervously, he called out:

“Sheerow? Was that you….?”

As if in response, the candle then abruptly went out, shrouding him in an eerie darkness. Ravio blinked in surprise, trying to keep his composure.

“Okay, then…..”

As he relit the flame, he could swear he heard the sound of someone breathing. He slowly turned and held the candle out towards the source of the noise, and what he saw made him freeze in place.
Just inches away from where he was standing, a horribly terrifying face was leering right at him. Once Ravio realized what he was looking at he started screaming bloody murder, or rather he was about to when a hand almost as big as his head swiftly snatched him by the face and forcibly silenced him.

“Surprised to see me?” Yuga taunted smugly. “I’m sure you are wondering all about how—“

He paused as he felt Ravio go limp in his grasp, and as he looked down he observed the only thing keeping him suspended was the grip on his face. He let go of the boy, who collapsed to the floor entirely unconscious.

“Eh, Ravio….?”

He knelt down and waved a hand in front of his face to no avail, and when that didn’t work he tried shaking him before annoyedly letting him slump back to the ground.

“And you fainted, because of course you would.” He sighed. “Pathetic as ever, I see.”

Now irritated, he slung Ravio over his shoulders and exited the home, walking off into the night.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Sheerow woke up that morning to find that Ravio had never gone to bed. He himself had gone to bed last night when he noticed Ravio was in his own world writing in that silly book again, he had gotten used to him taking forever to finish and knew there was no point waiting for him.
Normally Sheerow would wake up to see Ravio still in bed, but there were occasionally exceptions where he would sleep at his desk and that is where he went to check next. Alarmingly though, he was not there either, and now worry was beginning to plague the little bird as he tried to determine where his friend would be. Perhaps in the kitchen? Maybe he was in there making breakfast, he reasoned to himself, yeah that made sense right? But as Sheerow went to the kitchen he still couldn’t find Ravio, and this is when he began to search the whole house; the same result could be found for each room he searched through, and once he realized Ravio was nowhere in the whole house he began to truly panic. As he came back into the living room, he could see that the front door was wide open, indicating something sinister must have happened here.
Ravio would never just leave him behind like that…. did a monster come and take his friend in the night? Sheerow’s feathers stood on end as his mind raced with the worry of many horrible possibilities.
“Chi chi!” *I must inform Hilda!*
With that, the little bird flew off in a hurry. Surprisingly Sheerow was rather fast despite his size. The castle came into view and soon he saw Hilda in her gardan trimming the leaves off a plant and putting them in a bag.
Hilda looked upwards curiously, alerted by the panicked sound of flapping wings as she watched the small bird soar down to her frantically, trying to perch on her hands.
“Hold on, Sheerow.”
Hilda held her hands up to show him her bulky garden gloves, indicating he should wait a moment. Shortly after she pulled off her dirty gloves, extending her hands to him so he could finally sit. She looked at him skeptically, somewhat unamused at being interrupted in the middle of gardening.
“Now, what’s wrong?”
Sheerow didn't know where to begin frantically he kept showing projections one after another.
"Slow down you're giving me a headache."
Sheerow seemed frustrated but tried again this time calmer in his explaining.
"You mean to tell me he's gone?! He better not have left again without telling me..." she growled through gritted teeth. *Please don't leave me again Ravio. I thought you'd died.. you have no idea how that felt.*
Sheerow quickly reassured that he didn't think Ravio took off and brought up the open door and that nothing was missing except for Ravio.
"This.. this doesn't make sense.. why.. why would someone take my-... I mean Ravio."
"Chi!"
"You think it was a monster? But why would it stop at just Ravio, wouldn't it take some of his things too? And wouldn't you have heard it breaking in?"
Sheerow shook his head unable to answer. Hilda was completely shook by this. "I.. we'll find him, we have to find him."
