Promise - Heewon

Chapter 4

It was a rainy day and jungwon just woke up. He got up and first thing he saw through the window was rain. He smiled at the view because for some reason he like rain a lot. He liked the feeling of rain on his face. It gave him a safe feeling from his problems. Jungwon put on his airpods and started to listen his favorite song, it's by chunga ''Killing me''. He walked to his bathroom and started to wash his face and teeth. 

Jungwon was now downstairs and just grabbed an apple before his parents could come down. He put his shoes on and took an umbrella so he wouldn't get wet. He started do walk to school. While walking he felt that his phone buzzed. He took his phone out and saw that heeseung sent him a message. 

Heeseung: Wanna meet before school?

Jungwon: Sure. Where?

Heeseung: At the cafe near the school, you know the one with a lot of plants.

Jungwon: Okey, I will be there in 15 minutes.

Heeseung: See you then wonie.

When jungwon saw the last part of the message he got the strange feeling again in his stomach. It welt like millions on  butterflies are trying do escape his stomach. He tried to calm down but the butterflies are not going away. Jungwon was so excited to meet heeseung today because he gives him a safe feeling like the rain that now stoped. 

Heeseung was waiting jungwon at the cafe. He ordered himself an almond latte and for jungwon he didn't know what do order so he got him a strawberry smoothie. While waiting heeseung was scrolling through tik tok when he heard the door bell ring. He looked at the boy and saw that it is jungwon. He raised his hand, signaling jungwon where he is. Jungwon saw him and walked to him while smiling.

''Hey wonie.'' heeseung said with a bright smile. ''Hey heeseung.'' jungwon replied. They looked at each other but jungwon looked down because he feels shy. Everytime he meets with heeseungs eyes he get nervous and feels those butterflies in his stomach. Heeseung noticed that jungwon is nervous so he decided to break the weird silence. 

''So jungwon, how did you sleep.'' he asked, jungwon raised his head and looked at heeseung. ''I slept great, what about you.'' jungwon asked now looking at his drink. He was now smiling because he loves strawberries, he loves everything that contents strawberries. Heeseung saw his smile and smiled to himself also. He's happy that jungwon is smiling more. He didn't want do see him sad all the time. He has so cute face and dimples. 

''Heeseung get your self together.''' he said it to himself and just sighed. Am I really falling to this boy, who looks so cute and innocent. He's never felt this kind of feeling for anyone. For some reason he wants to do everything with jungwon. He wants do hang with him more, he wants do see his face more, he wants do dedicate his time fro jungwon so the younger could feel happy all the time and feel safe. 

''Heeseung, heeseung, hey what are you thinking about.'' he woke up from his thoughts and now is looking at jungwon with curious face. ''What where you thinking that you didn't hear me.'' he asked while drinking his drink. ''Oh nothing don't worry, I was thinking about todays test.'' he lied to him because he doesn't want to tell him yet about his feeling. Mabey he doesn't feel that same towards heeseung. 

Jungwon got up and same did heeseung. They walked out of the cafe and now are walking do school. They were walking, not talking the whole time. Jungwon got worried that heeseung is getting bored because of him and doesn't want to talk with him, but it's the opposite, heeseung don't know what do talk about at the moment. He really wants to tell the younger that he likes him. 

They arrived school and now jungwon was waving at heeseung. He just smiled at the youngers action and walked to his classroom. He sat next to his best friend jay and just sighed. Jay noticed that heeseung is different those few days. ''Where were you.'' jay asked while looking at heeseung. ''Oh i was at the cafe near school.'' heeseung answered. ''And why didn't you ask me do come with you.'' jay now getting curious about heeseung. 

Jay didn't have chance do ask because the school bell rang and the teacher came to the classroom and started the lesson. The whole lesson heeseung couldn't concentrate. Jungwon was on his mind for the whole time. 

It was now finally lunch time and heeseung got his things and started to walk out of the class but jay stoped him. ''Are you not gonna wait me.'' heeseung was looking at jay and realized that he hasn't give jay any attention. He knows that jay always wants alot of attention but for these few days he forget about his best friend.

''So sorry jay, I was zoning out I think.'' heeseung said to jay, but jay knew that something is going on. He knows it. 

''Wanna grab a lunch with me.'' he said to jay and he just nodded. They were walking and just chatting when heeseung saw jungwon walking towards them. He waved him and the younger saw him. Jay was looking at heeseung and thought do himself. Does he know him. Isn't it that guy who's always alone and gets bullied by one of the upper students. 

They were now walking towards jungwon and heeseung was smiling and same did jungwon. When their eyes met they both got butterflies. Just seeing the youngers eyes made heeseung smile like an idiot. 

Jay was now observing them and knew that something is going on with both of them. 100%

''Wonie wanna join us for lunch.'' heeseung asked looking right into jungwons eyes. He could look at his eyes for a day and he couldn't get enough of his eyes. 

''I don't know heeseung, I really don't go to the cafeteria.'' jungwon said, few seconds later he felt someones hand on his shoulder. He didn't know who it was and started to think who could it be.

First who came to his mind was jeong but he wouldn't come near him when heeseung was with him so the next person he thought was...

But before he could think about it he heard the person saying.

''Yaah, jungwon where have you been the whole time, I've missed you some much.'' when he heard the persons voice he was relieved. It was is best friend niki.

''Oh niki it's you, sorry that I haven't called or texted.'' jungwon said while looking at his best friend. ''Oh heeseung, how have you been.'' niki said with a weird facial expression. 

Heeseung was now looking at niki and same did jay and they both looked kinda angry. What is going on between them. Did niki do something wrong or.

''Jungwon, do you know niki.'' jay was now asking me, i nodded. I was looking at heeseung and he looked confused. ''Heeseung, do you know niki.'' i asked heeseung but he didn't answer do me so I asked the same quiestion from niki.

''Well, heeseung and my sister used to a couple.''

When I heard the last part I just froze and looked at heeseung. While looking at heeseung i felt my eyes tearing up and I just run. I heard heeseung shouting my name but I didn't care.
