There was a knock on the door. Will lifted his glasses as the person knocking entered the room. He immediately stood up as he saw that it was Dr.Schmidt entering.
"Hello sir," he said a little excited.
"Hello William, I wanted to introduce someone to you."
Behind Schmidt came a man a little younger than Will. He had straight, messy, brown hair and a very arrogant look on his face.
"This is Theodor, he is one of our apprentices in the academy and will be graduating soon. He plans on working on this very floor with you."
The two men shake hands.
"I wanted you two to meet as you soon will be spending plenty of time with each other. After Theodor has passed his exams and enforcer training."
Will smiled at Theodor yet he didn't return the kindness and kept his cocky look on his face. Almost as if he was looking down on him.
"You two can talk for a bit before I continue my tour, I have to grab something out of my office," Schmidt said and left the room.
Theodor was staring at Will with an almost disgusted look.
"S-so you want to be one of the scientists," Will tried to joke.
"Cut the crap. I'm not here for small talk. I'm here because I heard you're a dark."
Will took a step back in shock.
"How dare you? I was born and raised here!"
Theodor was strolling around the room, "Yeah, I know that. But your grandma was a dark wasn't she."
"She was not! How dare you. Get out of my lab!"
Theodor smirked and left the room.
Will's heart was racing. He let himself down on his chair and took deep breaths.
How would this random intern know that his roots lied in the dark?
