After 4years we both got placed in the same company.
I still remember that day when it was our last graduation convocation day we all were present in our college to collect our degrees and accolades.
Everyone came except him. I was waiting for him eagerly he must have been struck in traffic or something I comforted myself. And went up to the stage and collect my degree and award and gave my speech.
While giving my speech I saw Abhay coming towards the main stadium wearing his drape and hat accommodated for the graduation.
I felt so happy within as if a kid got extra candy.
After concluded my speech he came up on the stage and knelt down and pulled out something from his pocket, "a ring!" and asked me
"miss Kanika Jain, from the past 4 years you are sharing your home made food with me and frankly telling you and everyone present here I just loved your food thank you so much.therefore, on behalf of that, I wanted to share something with you ie; my last name I love you Kanika will you be Mrs Kanika Abhay raizada." Happily and with an ease, he concluded everything, making me feel like adding one more candy to the previous extra candy.
I was not able to believe that the moment I was waiting for from past 4 years has now came into existence.
After coming from the shocked state I replied him "yes for sure! I was waiting for it since 4 years, thank you so much and I love you too" He put the ring on my ring finger and hugged me. Everyone was smiling and seems like they were happy seeing us together".
