Jinx was walking aimlessly around Zaun. She could hear nothing but her ghosts judging her. Staring at her with the same disgusted look they always gave her everytime she ruined everything around her.'You fucking disgrace.'
There we go again...
'You ruin everything.'
Shut up.
'You do nothing but bring shame to this forsaken world.'
Fuck off.
She didn't care about what they said anymore. She was a jinx and she had finally accepted it, after years of holding on to the past.
She was perfect, just like Silco said. And she was proud of it. But the voices kept annoying her, anyways. They would never stop poisoning her with their venomous insults.
A few seconds passed before she realized that she had arrived at the bridge. The bridge. The place where she decided to end her life. Once and for all. But the world as unfair as it was , did not let her do it. She couldn't even die. She was brought back when all she wanted was to end her suffering.
When she closely looked around , a sudden picture of a boy flashed through her mind. A boy who once was her little hero.
Ekko.
She remembered the anger in his eyes, how he knocked her down and punched her to death... how he almost killed her on that bridge. Her once sweet childhood best friend who promised to always be there for her.. no matter the cost.
They were very dear to each other when they were kids . They came as a package deal. Sometimes, she felt that he was the only person who could truly understand her. Because he knew what it was like. What it was like to feel small in amongst people who were bigger and.. stronger. They were both really young. They only had each other when it came to "being weak".
But what does it matter? She pushed him away a long time ago to work for Silco. They led completely different lives now. There was no going back, especially after all the conflict they have had during the past years. Besides she didn't need him. Or Vi..or anyone. She could make it on her own.
She glanced at the bridge one last time before she made her way back to the undercity. A blank expression was written all over her face. She couldn't feel anything anymore. No tears, no regret. Just pure numbness. After losing so much she just turned her feelings off.
She was tired of feeling anything.

Ekko finally headed out of the base after he got his things ready. He turned on his hoverboard and hopped on it, making his way through the city.
He went from alley to alley, searching for any sign of Jinx. He even went to their old hangout spot. The Arcade. He hoped he would find her there but the chances were low.
When he arrived he hopped off his hoverboard and put it on his back. He slowly walked inside the place and took a moment to look around. He recalled memories of Vi punching her boxing machine, Powder beating Mylo at the shooting range... Claggor being the cool big brother he was. Good times. Times when he had no care in the world.
No one was there.
Of course she wouldn't be there. What was he thinking? That he would find her that easily? She would probably be hiding at some place that no one would knew of its existence. She was Jinx after all. Mysterious and unpredictable.
