Jisoo's POV

"Maybe I'll come see you in Germany." I said with hidden intent to Jennie. We were on the airstrip, the jet waiting behind me for us to go back to America.

I had spent nearly every night and day with her here in Singapore, using our time wisely. I learned a lot of new things about the fact that she got her navel piercing on a drunken night in Tokyo with Taehyung and never bothered with it when she came to her senses.

"Maybe."

"I'll miss you." I admitted, lowering my head to peck her lips.

"You'll see me soon enough...right?" She cocked a brow. I guess my intentions weren't hidden.

I smiled, "Right. I'll call you when I land." I took a step back, battling myself.

She nodded silently, her hand staying in mine as I took small steps back. I missed her touch as soon as her fingers slipped away from mine.

When I was finally seated on the plane after much inner dispute, I looked out to the runway watching as her car pulled off and disappeared onto the streets.

"You two seem close." Dad said, sitting in front of me when the pilot finally said we were aloud to walk again.

"I suppose we are." I couldn't help my small smile at the thought.

"Any plans for the week?"

"I have a few meetings with the contractors to begin construction on the new firm in London." After many meetings and consultations we're officially ready to begin construction internationally and the first one is in England.

His eyes glimmered as he smiled, "I'm really proud of you Jichu."

"Thanks dad." His eyes squinted slightly when his smile widened.

"When I started this firm I never thought one day we would be going international. And nearly thirty years later my daughter just takes it upon herself and does it." He shook his head in disbelief, his small smile visible.

"We did it." I corrected. Though I suggested the option, we would never be able to even think about expanding if it wasn't for him.

"We finally have something to one up them on." He said gesturing to Irene and mum who were focused on their laptops.

"At least we could have said that we didn't enjoy killing like psychopaths." I teased, talking louder than I needed. That was in the least bit true but...

Out of the side of my eye, Irene looked at us. Dad nodded at my words, faking seriousness.

"Don't lie to her baby." He scowled playfully at mum.

"Isn't that weird," Dahyun spoke up from her place on bed on the far side of the jet, "That we literally kill people for a living and you two are lawyers who fight cases for killers and sometimes against them."

I sighed when the flight attendant froze up, eyes wide as he stared at us in fear. Irene groaned meeting mum hard gaze.

"Yoona." Dad warned lowly.

"Me? Talk to your daughter, who is too evil for her own good." She said as she got up from her seat. We all knew that we don't outright speak about those things in front of strangers. All these people knew that we were rich, not that we were in mafia.

"I want my money Jin." Dahyun sang happily and very unbothered.

"You made mistake yourself three times Yoona." Dad exclaimed in exasperation as he got up to stop the flight attendant that was slowly backing away.

"I'm sorry pal." He said patting his shoulder. In lightening speed mum wrapped her arm around his neck and knocked him out.

"You're not killing him?" Irene questioned.

"The poor man is innocent, he shouldn't remember anything when he wakes up." Dad answered as he picked up and carried him to their bunkers, stating that he fainted and needed to sleep it off.

What even is with this family?
