'Sit and let her look at you,' Jake said to Neteyam as Neytiri stayed close to him.

'I feel great,' Neteyam said as he hard time sitting still, 'Like I could run for days great.'

Neytiri was about to respond from next to her son, but stopped when Ronal walked into the pod.

She didn't say anything as she walked up to Neteyam. Her eyes hard as the boys ears slightly lowered.

'How is she?' Neteyam finally asked.

She didn't respond as she began assessing him. Looking at the scar that would permanently be on his chest. Checking his functions as he awaited an answer.

'If my daughter doesn't wake up in the next two days, you will be banished from here,' Ronal spoke lowly to Jake. The three of them not knowing what to say as they watched her walk out.

——

'I thought you were dead,' Lo'ak said as he pulled his brother into a hug, tears threatening to spill from his eyes as his grip tightened. Not caring if they were in front of their friends.

'I technically was,' Neteyam tried to lighten the mood, not working.

'Do you know how she really is?' Neteyam asked as he looked at Tsireya and Ao'nung. Ronal only allowing her children and mate be with her.

'She's just sleeping,' Tsireya said with a soft smile, 'she should wake soon.'

'You don't know that,' Ao'nung said, refusing to look at any of them.

'I thought she was going to kill Spider too,' Lo'ak said as he sat close to Neteyam.

'What do you mean?' Neteyam asked and Lo'ak ears turned up.

'Bro it was the coolest thing ever, straight magic,' he said as he began to move his hands, 'Throwing the blood into the water, threatening to kill Spider to trade his life for yours, everything was crazy.'

'Oh,' Neteyam said as he looked to her pod, the curtains pulled tightly shut, someone always close by to make sure no one walked in.

'She's going to be okay,' Tsireya said as she got his attention back, 'You have to have faith like she did in you.'

——

It has been a full day and a half since the beach. Ayvey laid in her pod. The paint wiped from her skin as her hair was out of braids. Her breath steady as it looked like she was just deep in sleep.

Her eyes flutter slightly as she began to asses the room she was in. She looked and saw the sun coming from the windows. She tried to figure out what had happened, but the lack of evidence around her made her not able to believe the events she had performed weren't a dream.

Her eyes started to water again at the thought. The fact no one was around her, no Sully in sight.

She slowly started to stand. Her heart beating fast as she began to panic, that is was just a dream and that he was really gone.

She stepped out of the pod. The sun shinning bright on her skin as she looked around. Her heart beating fast as she looked around, many having shocked faces as they looked at her.

She felt her eyes starting to water as she walked quickly through the people, many trying to stop her but the shock stopping them.

Many cleared out of her way as she began to panic, her pace picking up as she tried to find someone to talk to.

She made her way to the beach, some Ilus in the water chirping as she walked across the sand.

——

'She's awake,' a older Na'vi said as he rushed to the pod of Ronal and Tonowari.

'What?' Ronal asked as she stood.

'She's awake, she took off. We don't know where she's going,' the man said, instantly being followed by Tonowari.

——

She was halfway across the beach, making her way to the closest point to get to the spirit tree without having to fully swim.

She was about to call for Toawso when dark blue skin stopped her.

She froze as she watched him stand, not noticing her standing there yet.

He looked up and stopped as well.

'I thought I could hear you through the tree,' he said, finally breaking the silence.

She smiled as she ran to him. Her arms instantly wrapping around him as she jumped, sending both of them backwards.

'We're both too sore for you to be doing that,' he said with a laugh as he laid on his back in the sand, her arms tightly around him.

'I thought I lost you,' she said before leaning down to connect their lips, 'I see you,' she said as she broke away, quickly returning back to him. Her hands tangling in his hair to deepen the kiss, 'You're never leaving my sight again.'

He laughed in the kiss as he held her close to him. He pulled away, her lips instantly chasing back, but was held still.

'We have all the time in the world now Ma Ayvey,' he said with a smile, tears forming in her eyes as she nodded her head. Her arms wrapped around his shoulders as she still was on top of him, her tail wrapping around his leg.

'What did your mom say when you left? She's pretty mad at me,' he asked as his hands rested across her back.

'Nothing, I just left,' she said as she held onto him tighter.

'Ayvey we have to tell them you're awake, it's been days,' he said as he tried to pull away, but her grip wouldn't budge.

'They can find us,' she said as she rested her head on his shoulder, 'We aren't far. Please,' she asked as her tail tightened around his leg.

'We can sit for a little bit longer, but we have to go back,' he said as she quickly nodded, feeling him smile against her skin as she held him close.

——

The two walked back after a while, her hands holding onto his arm and hand. Her tail moving to mess with his.

'You're teasing me,' he said as he turned to hit her tail away, a laugh leaving her lips.

'Mom?' she called as she walked closer to her pod, but refusing to let go of Neteyam's hand.

Ronal, Tonowari, Jake, and Neytiri all walked out at the sound of her voice.

Ronal instantly pulled her into a hug.

'Don't you ever do something like that again,' Ronal said as she held her close to her.

Ayvey smiled and nodded. She stood close to Neteyam as the parents started speaking.

'Thank you,' Neytiri said as she walked up, kissing her forehead as she held her face.
