Kinsley sat on the bleachers with Savannah and Vader watching as the Lynch family seperated into their teams. The girl was excited. She had never really done a family thing like this, as Kaiden's never home and the rest of them are always working on some project. Although, she was nervous. Of course, she had met Ryland's siblings and cousins before, and their partners. But this was the first time she'd be meeting his parents, and his aunts and uncles.

"You look nervous." Savannah said, sliding closer to Kinsley.

"No. No, it's just. New people." Kinsley said, placing her hands underneath her thighs.

"You'll be fine. Stormie's the sweetest person ever, and you're going to love Angie." Savannah reassured her, while offering her a bottle of water.

Kinsley nodded, looking out onto the field where Ryland was talking and laughing with Gus and Ross. He caught Kinsley's eye, smiling up at her. Ryland continued to sneak glances towards the brunette girl as she sat with his sister-in-law on the bleachers by home plate.

Stormie, who had spotted Savannah, made her way up the bleachers to join the two girls, eager to meet Ryland's friend.

"Stormie! Hi!" Savannah greeted her, standing to give her a hug.

The older girl had introduced Kinsley to Stormie, and the three of them enjoyed each others company while the Lynch family played their weekly softball game. Kinsley absolutely loved Stormie, and vice versa. The brunette easily slipped into a conversation with the mom, while Vader sat peacefully on the bleachers next to her.

Once the game had started, Kinsley placed her feet on the bleachers in front of her, allowing Vader to curl up in her lap. The rest of the family not playing had joined them on the bleachers, the small group cheering for their respective partners. Kinsley watched Ryland play shortstop, smiling at the way he laughed and joked with his family members.

"You really like him?" Savannah's voice sounded, causing Kinsley to look towards her.

"Hmm?" Kinsley hummed, not entirely hearing the brunette's question.

"Ryland. You really like him. I can tell." Vanni grinned, crossing her legs.

"I don't know what you're talking about." Kinsley shook her head, denying the feelings she clearly had.

"Honey, you like him. You have that look in your eyes." Stormie added, smiling at the girl.

"What look?" The James girl questioned, turning to Stormie.

"The look that Rydel gives Capron. Or Kyla to Gus. Alex to Rocky. Jaz and Ross. The looks." Stormie said, trying to hint at Kinsley.

"The look that I gave Riker before he asked me to be his girlfriend." Savannah smirked. "And now we're happily married."

"You like him, Kins."

"Hey beautiful." Ryland spoke as he reached Kinsley, who was now standing on the grass with Vader. Ryland was still on the feild, the fence seperating the two adults.

"Hi handsome." Kinsley smiled as Ryland leaned against the fence slightly.

"You having fun?" The boy asked, taking his hat off and running a hand through his hair.

"Yeah. Your family is great. I absolutely love your mom." Kinsley said, leaning closer to him.

"Most people do." Ryland laughed, before growing silent, allowing himself to admire the brown haired girls facial features.

The two stood in silence, both admiring the other, while Vader made himself comfortable by Kinsley's feet. The girl took the chance to really look at Ryland, noticing his beautiful brown eyes, and his adorable smile. She noticed the small features, like the small dimple on his right cheek when he smiles, or the way his hair fell in his face when he took his hat off. She adored the way he was with Vader, and the way he was always willing to hang out with his family. She absolutely adored Ryland Lynch, and he adored her as well.

Ryland loved the way her eyes lit up when she talked about her siblings, and the way her hair looked after she woke up. He adored the sound of her laugh, and the way she fidgeted with her fingers when she got nervous. It was safe to say Ryland was falling for Kinsley James, and he was okay with that.

"RyRy! You guys coming over after the game?" Rydel's voice broke their silence as she bounced over to them. "The family's meeting at my place for lunch."

"Kins?" Ryland looked at her, asking what she wanted to do. Kinsley nodded, looking between the siblings.

"Yeah we'll be there." Ryland told his sister, throwing his hat on backwards. The game was almost finished, but they took a little break due to the California heat.

"You should get back to your game, mister." Kinsley said quietly, looking up at Ryland. The boy smiled down at her, his eyes moving between her eyes and her lips.

"Yeah, I probably should. Cheer for me, will ya?" He smiled, watching as the girl let out a small laugh.

"Vader and I are your biggest cheerleaders." She replied, resting a hand on the fence between them.

"And you always will be." Ryland said, licking his lips slightly. He turned his head quickly to see if they had started the game again, then turned back to the girl in front of him.

"Go cheer me on, beautiful." Ryland whispered, before leaning down and placing a soft kiss to her lips. Kinsley smiled, not hesitating to kiss him back as she brought her hand up to his cheek. They broke away, both of them smiling.

"Go kick some ass, Ry." Kinsley smiled, giving him one more quick kiss before her and Vader went back to the bleachers.

It was safe to say that Ryland Lynch was absolutely in love with Kinsley James. And she felt the exact same way.
