Kinsley danced around her room as the Matilda soundtrack played through her speakers. It was New Years Eve, and she had nothing planned today, so the brunette was rearranging her room once again. Her music was paused suddenly, causing Kinsley to turn towards her Alexa, only to find her twin brother standing in her doorway.

"Hey Kay, what's up?" The blonde asked, smiling at her roommate.

"I got invited to a New Years Eve party tonight, you wanna come? Kennedy's going." The dark haired boy asked, leaning against the doorframe. Kaleb was always inviting his sisters to do things with him, they were his best friends.

"When is said party? And who's driving?" Kinsley asked, taking a seat in her desk chair.

"It starts at 9. Kennedy's driving, she doesn't drink." Kaleb explained, smiling a bit. Kinsley was always down to join Kaleb at parties. The twins rarely went anywhere without each other, and parties weren't any different.

"Yeah I'll go. I wasn't going to do anything tonight anyways." The girl smiled at her brother, letting a small laugh out.

Kaleb rolled his eyes with a smile, pushing off of the door frame and heading to the kitchen. Kinsley followed, wanting to grab a snack before going through her closet to decide what to wear. The twins sat around the island, Kaleb eating a bowl of cereal, Kinsley eating some toast. It was about 3:30pm, but neither sibling woke up until about an hour ago.

After a bit, Kinsley returned to her room, closing her door behind her. Opening her closet, she grabbed a few outfits that she thought would fit a New Years party. After picking an outfit, the girl sat at her vanity, beginning to apply makeup. Kinsley curled her hair slightly, before brushing her fingers through it to loosen the curls. By time she was done, it was nearing 7pm, so she had time to spare.

About an hour later, Kaleb came into her room. The boy was wearing a white button up with the top two unbuttoned, and a pair of black jeans.

"You ready?" He asked, looking up from his phone.

"Yep. Let's go." Kinsley grabbed her phone and a jean jacket, following her brother to the car. Kennedy was in the drivers seat, waiting on her younger siblings. Kaleb got into the passengers seat, leaving Kinsley to sit in the back. She didn't mind though, it gave her room to stretch her legs out.

The party was in full swing by the time they arrived. Kennedy parked her car down the street, meaning the three had to walk a bit to get to the party. Kinsley and Kennedy stuck together once they entered the house. Kaleb ran off as soon as he spotted his friends, leaving his sisters to find their way around themselves.

"You want to find the drinks?" Kennedy yelled to her baby sister, knowing the 20 year old would probably want to drink.

"You're gonna let me drink?" Kinsley laughed slightly, not expecting her sister to say that.

"It's New Years. Of course." Kennedy laughed, grabbing her sister's hand and dragging her through the crowd of people.

There were way too many people in the living room of the house, people had started to filter into the backyard. Kinsley tried to see if she recognized anyone as they passed through sweaty bodies, but there was too much going on to see. Eventually, the sisters made it to the kitchen, where there were empty cans and bottles all over the counters, and solo cups on the floor. Kinsley grabbed a cup, and a bottle of vodka. She poured a small amount of the alcohol in, before adding in Sprite. Kennedy stood with her, mainly to make sure nobody drugged her as she turned away to set the bottle down. The older girl grabbed a cup, pouring some Sprite for herself, leaving out the alcoholic drink.
